Waste of Money

After six years of using my gel foam cushion, I decided it was time to get a new one. I looked for replacing the one I used for so long but could not find an exact kind. So, I decided that this one might be a close match and bought it. Well, after a couple months, the foam was flattening (giving me less support and relief). After four months, the cushion was looking even more squashed. I knew then that this cushion was a fail - especially when my other one (which was the first one I ever bought) lasted for so long. Well, seven months has gone by and I started to notice some kind of wet spot on the cushion. I could not figure what it was, where it came from until I showed my husband who immediately said it might be from the gel part of the cushion. I opened the case up and found that it was gel! Not only did this cushion go flat in no time, it started to leak gel with only 6 months of use! Truly a disappointment. Thank goodness I didn't have the heart to throw away my old cushion and happily am using it once again (as it is more perkier than the new one!). My recommendation is simply "Don't waste your money on this cushion." I am now off to research for another cushion and hope to goodness I will have better success!

Worked well for several weeks and is still in use. Last time I washed it, however, the zipper broke (pulled right off the end when I unzipped the cover), so this might be the end of the road when it needs washing again. BTW, it needs washing if it will be exposed to "wetness," as the cover is not waterproof and will leak through to the foam.

Have a Seat

I liked this seat. I use it on my lawn chair and carry it to seats that need a little more cushion. Not the amount of gel content in it that I had hoped.

I really like the center layer of gel in this cushion

I really like the center layer of gel in this cushion. It relieves a good bit of pressure on my backside. I only wish this cushion had a soft cover over it.

It fits my wheelchair nicely. Seems comfortable

It fits my wheelchair nicely. Seems comfortable. Will use it soon on a trip to Disney. Hope it cushions the pain of sitting .

Works great.

Fits the wheelchair like a custom fit. Easy to clean and easy to transport. The only thing missing are pockets for "stuff". Good buy.

soft sitting

This is being used by a double amputee whose propensity for bedsores is extremely high as their days are spent sitting in a wheelchair. This pad fits perfectly in the Jazzy Wheelchair and stays in place throughout the day. We have never tried another gel cushion before this one but would order it again should the need arise.
