I always swore....
To never be one of those people that bought an appliance that only makes one thing... Like those sandwich maker/toasters for example.... Now I officially have 2 items that were only made for one thing.... The first was a cutter/crimper set for my kids to use to make their own Uncrustables, which has been used daily since I got it for everything from PB&J, to meat/cheese, to tuna salad, to pimento cheese, to even cucumber sandwiches... They have gone sandwich crazy! Then I found this little item while looking for something to let my son cook an egg or 2 in the microwave, and in the midst of all the little plastic and ceramic cups with lids for the microwave I found these egg cookers. The red one was on sale for a lower price than the other colors and as our kitchen is detailed in red I took that as a nudge that we should try it, after reading through countless reviews first! I do want to say that someone on here posted that it didn't work with farm fresh eggs, that's not true! It works just fine! I think their problem was because they punctured their eggs at the top and not at the bottom where the air sack is like the instructions say to do. Make sure you are putting the little hole on the bigger end, the bottom, of the egg. It worked perfectly for us with eggs that were just collected over the past day or 2. We have only had this little thing not even a whole day, it got here this morning and already my kids have made everything from hard boiled, to poached, to "scrambled". My son used the omelette setting and try to make scrambled eggs by only using the fork to break up the yolks and stuff a little, then season and cook, then use his fork to break them up and fluff them a little on his plate. It worked great! They had eggs for lunch and supper today just because they like that they can to it themselves. They are 12, and I did monitor them while they did. We already go through about 20 eggs a week, now I worry that I won't be able to keep them supplied with enough at all! I made myself a soft boiled egg on toast for supper and it was excellent! Its the only photo I have to upload as I didn't think about it when the kids ate. All I added was a little Louisiana Hot Sauce sprinkled over the egg and buttered toast. I didn't mess with anything else as I was exhausted from working out in the yard today. Now I am catching myself not only thinking about get these as gifts for a couple of people I know that work a lot and don't have a lot of time for cooking, but also looking into some of the other little items Dash makes! I rarely mess with steaming rice as I am the only one that eats it, but the size of the one by Dash has me thinking. I absolutely LOVE the size of this egg cooker! Its simple, small, and I have a whole, almost empty top shelf in my kitchen that I could keep 2-3 little things like this easily up there with my big ol crock pot. I am very glad I decided to get this thing, so are my kids! We are always looking for things they can make for themselves without resorting to frozen tv dinner type stuff for when I am working late. My 19yr old daughter can make a few things, but not many, and the boys like making stuff themselves. If you are on the fence about this you should go for it! Everything we have made so far has come out cooked as wanted. I may pick up an extra one to take to the office for people. I think it would be a big hit!

Makes perfect boiled eggs quick!
LOVE this rapid egg cooker that was a gift and have since gifted 3 of them to family. This has become one of my favorite appliances to own and to gift! No more hassle of waiting for the water to boil, wondering if the eggs are ready, accidentally forgetting that you have eggs boiling on the stove, having a pot to clean afterwards, not to mention the struggle to peel off the shell without destroying the egg. This little wonder cooks perfect soft, medium or hard cooked eggs in less time than it takes to get your pot of water to a boil. There is little to no clean up, takes up little storage space and your eggs peel easily and perfectly every time! Be sure to read and follow the instructions the first time and understand which end of the egg faces up! Get back to enjoying boiled eggs and dishes made with boiled eggs. I own the black model and it plays a nice little tune when the eggs are ready that continues to chime until you press the button to make it stop. I learned that some of the other colors have a buzzer that sounds when the eggs are finished. Be sure to get a model that has a stem or handle to remove the egg stand for ease of removal. The model I purchased also has an additional "dish" to steam small amounts of veggies or to make poached eggs. Gifted one to my 77yr old mom and she is loving the speed, ease and convenience of being able to make perfect deviled eggs. Both of my college aged boys asked for one and love the compact size and the option to cook not only hard boiled eggs but also steamed veggies. Highly recommend!

Product works as expected and so darn cute in yellow! Very impressed by the simplicity of use. Already did two batches and they are cooked perfectly no matter the setting. Highly recommend this product????????❤️

Very easy to cook all types of eggs!
Fantastic egg cooker. Got the Dash 6, not knowing there was a Dash 8. Dash 6 works great for two people, but get the larger size for more. Really enjoy the poached eggs. Also does a small omelette and will also soft, medium and hard boil up to 6 eggs at once. Definitely remember to apply some non-stick spray like pam to the trays before adding the eggs. Forgot to do this once and the eggs stuck to the plastic quite a bit. Wash the black trays on the upper shelf of the dishwasher, but wash the dome with warm soapy water by hand. Great product at a great price!

What an egg-ceptional little appliance!
It's adorable, like an easy-bake oven for eggs, and it's actually pretty awesome! There is a bit of a learning curve if you're really particular about doneness, but you can get it right pretty easily and it's just so easy to use after that it's very worth that initial trial period (keep notes). Plus, if you have an egg-loving dog like I do, even the fails aren't wasted. I don't care for omelettes so I can't comment on those, but medium all the way up to very hardboiled, and poached have all turned out lovely. And all faster and less fussy than other cooking methods. I just love this thing!

Trouble free eggs
Making hard, medium or soft boiled eggs is so easy. Simply put the amount of water required into the unit, poke a hole in the base of each egg, put the lid on loosely and push start. Trouble free eggs in a snap. I've been doing eggs the hard way for decades. Would have loved to have had this waaay back then. I highly recommend this product for anyone as lazy as me.
