a very firm wedge
This is just what the doctor ordered. I see reviews of people complaining that it's too hard. Well.... It gives the support I desperately need. I had gotten one of those fancier memory foam layered wedges. it was crippling. It gave me no back support, after surgery, last week. . I quickly sought out something firmer and this is perfect. I wish it was a little bit bigger, but it will be with me for a while, and I am so glad I have it. Especially now, while I am very slowly healing and rehabing my broken body

If you need it..
I didn't return it, but it is too thick for what I had ordered it for, which was to assist me in sleeping on my back.

Hard but necessary
I am using this while I’m waiting for pseudotumor cerebri treatment. This wedge is very firm but I don’t mind as I am overweight and there is a lot of weight put on it every night. This has made the pain in the back of my neck from the pseudotumor virtually disappear at night. I used to wake up to physical pain so bad that I was nauseous. Now I wake up to just slight neck pain that evens out throughout the morning (the neck pain is related to my condition). I can finally get some sleep and relief at night.

The cover is very thin.
I got the 7 inch for sleep. I have acid reflux and it really helps. The cover is very thin and will not last very long. I like the folding wedge and the carry case. I can take this on road trips to visit relatives and vacations. I bought a standard wedge pillow cover to put on top of it to make it last longer. The cover has to be removed when it is folded.

We bought this for extracurricular bedroom activities....
I am impressed with the density of this for support (not caving in) for adult bodies, and the carrying case (dust cover) is a nice touch so we can know it will be fresh and clean when we want to use it (after washing the covering the last time it was used). HOWEVER, the fabric covering it is scratchy and feels creepy on my naked or slightly naked skin. I will need to make a cover for it out of soft fabric, probably a thick jersey knit. Even though this is affordable, I feel like by the time I buy fabric and then use my time to sew a new cover, it would have been better to spend $20 more and just buy a higher quality cushion. We will be buying at least one more in a lower height to have choices....guess which company I WON'T buy from? This one. Again, the foam material is great and the size is good, but the cover is just gross to my skin.

Is very hard.
Very hard and uncomfortable I had to buy foam to put over it. Not comfortable at all and you actually need to have 2 of them with foam over both unless you're the size of a toddler Or your shoulders will ache because they will not be properly supported and it's very hard on the back of your head so then you need a rolled pillow for under your neck so by the time you have finished you need a lot of products to get Even slightly comfortable. Other than that I needed it because I traveled and kept reveled and cannot sleep flat had I known I would have Purchased 2 of them to put under the mattress as opposed to on the bed directly as you definitely need some foam and the mattress must be soft enough to place underneath then you need to put Under your feet so you don't slide off the bed so this becomes a project way bigger than you ever could have anticipated lol but if I don't anticipate it lol

Exactly as advertised, NO ODER, bought a second one.
I tried a similar product from different company and while it was good and firm, it had a ver obnoxious oder that didn't diminish with time. This one had no strong oder and what minor oder it had dissipated in a day. I've have been using it for quite some time (didn't provide a review shortly after receiving it) and it works very well. One small problem is the thin case with delicate zippers. I'm using a case that was home made for it outside the slip case that came with it. The plastic container that it is shipped in is nice and useful if you are traveling. It doesn't compress well at all so it will take up a lot of space, but that's the good ting about the pillow, it's ability to supply FIRM support. Comfort and pain relief aren't always properties of a pillow, as with any inanimate object. I'll say that it isn't of itself uncomfortable and doesn't cause pain. How it is used may, but it isn't problematic. I use it a LOT with no complaints. Some may complain that they slide down but until someone invents an anti-gravity device, that will be a problem ann any inclined support.

Buy this
Ok. This is for any couple that wants the most out of their love making. Let's be honest it isn't for your acid reflux Haha. It works perfectly! Omg it makes everything so much better. We fit like 2 Lego pieces, it's like I dont have to focus on making us fit and hold her up everything is atthe right elevationt. The pillow does that we just focus on the rest. It's a must have as far as I can tell. I bought the 7.5 inch and its plenty but I can see how the 12in. Might be more useful for a heavier couple idk tho. 5stars

TOO FIRM and not long enough to fully support my back
The main issues I have are: 1) This wedge is EXTREMELY firm. It’s almost like sleeping on a rock. 2) while resting my head on a pillow, the wedge is not long enough to fully support my back. Although I may try to position my entire back on the wedge before sleeping, I end up sliding down part way through the night and then my lower back ends up being curved. Result: huge back pain for most of the following day. Solution? I tried placing soft foam on top (directly on top of the hard foam, inside the zippered cover). It helps a bit with the firmness, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still not long enough. However, if I pile up some pillows or blankets between the wedge and the wall, I have a solid surface to rest half my pillow on, which then allows me to lay down on the wedge properly and not have a sore back the next morning. I suppose, the wedge could also be placed UNDERNEATH THE MATTRESS instead. Doing so should cause the surface of the incline to be longer. By the way the actual dimensions of my wedge are 7 inch x 23 inch x 23 inch with an incline length of 23.5 inches

I'd give it 10 stars if I could!
Look, if I could give this double the stars I would! I don't know about the medical part... but, what we use it for.... this baby is outstanding! Of course, I imagine it would be great for reading in bed.... or acid reflux if you have that to deal with, or maybe prop something up, I don't know... I will say this, if you actually know how to use this wedge right, you won't ever regret buying it! And by the way, that silly filly who said this was too firm and gave it low ratings.... you sold me on it, so thank you! I grew up on a farm, and understand how expensive good tack is, but if you know where the REAL rodeo is at, you'll recognize this piece is at a great price! Nuff said!

It's really firm
I bought this product because I have GERD and I need to be propped up to sleep to prevent horrible acid reflux. It took me about 3 weeks to get used to the wedge and a lot of playing with pillows to find a comfortable medium. The wedge is *really firm*. It does need to be super firm in order to keep the shape but it makes it hard to sleep on if you like softer. (Photo above is my setup, the 3 pillows+wedge are for nights when GERD is very bad. I rock the 2 pillow+wedge setup when it's not so bad.) I layer thin pillows over the base of the wedge and then a firmer pillow to support my head. I do find that often no matter how I set myself up during the night, I end up sliding down so I'm not as sat up (likely due to movement during sleep) I have gotten used to it now, but expect a period of adjustment.

Poor quality zipper, no replacement covers, stay away
So the zipper broke on this wedge as it's made tiny and thin, we asked where we could find a replacement, and the company told us they don't carry replacement covers. This is not serious, you should take care of such things of you have a product that might potentially need replacement parts. Stay away from this product or you'll end up with a broken zipper =, lots of useless fabric and yellow foam to sleep on.
