Great performance, easy to use and clean.

This replaces a 7-cup Cuisinart that lasted over 20 years. Initially thought I had a problem and called customer service. They were great, patient and I discovered it to be operator error in getting the bowl on properly. Received the item 3 days ago and have used it 4 times, flawlessly. High hopes of using it for 20 years, if not longer.

Great food processor

Been looking for a sturdy well built food processor. This is definitely it! Love how easy it is to use. Also, comes with other blade attachments pending your needs. I make dressings, dips, peanut butter with no issues at all. Great purchase.

Good for salsa

Looking for a Food processor that was just a food processor was a tough choice for me. I make salsa frequently and needed something that wasn’t going to leak liquid all over my counter. After trying a few from stores I found the Cuisinart one and decided to give it a try knowing they normally make a good product. This one is no exception. It works great, no leaks. The only thing that could make it better is if it had cord storage, but one of the sticky cord holders will work.

Five stars for open box (only a partial product review), four for item itself

I fully expected this Cuisinart not to be built as robustly as my previous ones, but it still seemed like the best bang for the buck. As usual, I look at open box listings first since I have done this many times on Amazon and have never been disappointed. This one said there may be a large cosmetic imperfection (same for other items!) Nope, looks good as new. It works perfectly and the build quality met my expectations of "adequate" though it is obviously too early to say anything about longevity. Not crazy about the way the center stalk is permanently mounted, have to store it sideways in a cabinet. The blade is much thinner and lighter than earlier versions, but so far has done the trick on completely pulverizing. Annoying high pitched whine, so we keep some noise suppressing headphones nearby! Much better than the Ninja (the most recent replacement for our Cuisinarts) which has a dangerous tiered blade system that is hard to clean, leaves a lot of unprocessed pieces below the blade bottom, and also has bowl ridges which makes it very difficult to get everything out with a spatula.

Didn't even make it a year before a part broke

I have enjoyed this food processor. I've used it for a lot of things, and it got the job done. I'm just very disappointed that it didn't even make it a year before the seal in the lid broke. I've been trying to figure out how to get a replacement seal, but it has not been an easy process.

Hummus Heaven

This thing is amazing, like seriously, I can't even believe how much easier it has made my life in the kitchen. First of all, let me just say that the design is super sleek and and more importantly, it is SO easy to use. I'm not exactly a pro chef, but with this chopper/grinder, I can make everything from salsa to pesto to hummus in no time. It has a powerful motor that makes quick work of even the toughest ingredients, and the four-cup capacity is perfect for when I'm cooking for my family or having a few friends over. Cleanup is a breeze too, which is a total game changer for me. I'm totally obsessed with the Cuisinart Chopper/Grinder and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to up their cooking game without breaking the bank.

Not powerful

I have owned a large and a small Cuisinart. I bought this looking for a happy medium in another home. The size is great but it lacks the power and needs a lot of extra time and patience. I love Cuisinart as a brand and own many products. I am keeping it as I love the size.

Love it! Shreds and chops wonderfully!

Love it! Shreds and chops wonderfully! Sometime the food does stick in the top. I just scrape it out and add it to the chopping bowl.

Didn't work right out of the box.

Product arrived quickly but did not work. Put in some onions, followed the instructions, plugged it in and turned it on several times and nothing. It looked cheaply made and I am very disappointed with Cuisinart. Returned it and bought a Hamilton Beach which is larger, more powerful, works great and cost less.

Excellent for the money

This food processor is quiet, well-designed, and easy to use and clean. I did drop the lid and because it is light-gauge plastic, it broke in several places on impact. But a replacement part is on the way (at my expense, of course), and I'll just have to be more careful.
