Don't leave hair greasy!
These Dukal Redi-Wash® Rinse-Free shampoo caps are pretty good. They don't leave hair greasy like some with conditioners do. I would have liked a little more shampoo, seemed to be just a little skimpy. If someone had long hair it would not be good. But it worked great on my 100 year old Grandma's short hair. I would recommend this product for people who have shorter hair.

Quick fix
These work well if you can't get into the shower or near a sink. The smell isn't great, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. I thought they would be like the ones the hospitals use, but they are not.

Cold Hair Wash
I got these for upcoming camping trips, but wanted to try one, and oh my, the wash was cold! I'm not sure if these can be heated (maybe while camping one could boil some water and heat up that way?). The instructions didn't indicate that it is safe to heat the caps? Anyway, if you're okay with washing your hair with cold water, then these are for you.

Good in an Emergency, I Guess
Well, these shampoo caps do get your hair wet, I'll say that for them. Clean is another story. I used one exactly as the instructions on the package say, put it on my head and "massaged" my short hair for at least two minutes and probably more. You'll want a towel handy, since the cap drips during massage. It saturates your hair and leaves a residue on it after hair dries, and has a fragrance somewhat like air freshener. Frankly, not much better than wetting dirty hair with water and then drying it. Perhaps okay for helping someone who's sick or disabled but probably not the best option out there for cleaning hair without water unless it's definitely an emergency, you have no water, and there's absolutely NO other way. I will save the rest of my shampoo caps for just that sort of event!

A messy Cap, here are my notes…
This item has been with me for a very short time. I ordered the Dukal Redi-Wash Rinse-Free Shampoo Cap because as a caregiver, I was sick and tired of dealing with the hassle of traditional shampooing. So when I saw that this shampoo cap promised an easy and mess-free way to cleanse hair without any water or rinsing required, I jumped at the chance. Yeah, maybe it seems lazy, but sometimes we all deserve a shortcut every now and then, especially when it comes to something as mundane as washing our hair. I hope you find this review helpful.

Not the best
These are ok if you're desperate I guess. It makes your hair look kind of greasy / wet which I'm not a fan of. The smell isn't very nice either. Not horrible but not exactly pleasant either.

works great
This came in free of charge through the Amazon Vine program. I’ve had no direct contact with Amazon Vine or the manufacturer and these opinions are my own. My mom has extremely limited mobility, and these help keep her hygiene up when she can't get into the shower. Very easy and convenient to use.

Perfect for in home care
These are great for caring for someone who can't shower, so hospital stays, in home care, etc. I tried one to see how they worked and it's not bad. It was cool and refreshing but you can also warm it in the microwave. It doesn't give a deep clean but it is good enough to feel better. It was wet enough to go through my entire hair but didn't drip or make messes. The liquid stays in the cap. It smells nice too. I wish I would have had these after a couple of different surgeries, it would have made me feel much better.
