Cloud Bed for XXL Dogs!!! BUY!!! Pull the trigger and buy!!!
As a proud owner of a 116-pound Alaskan Malamute standing close to 5'10" on hind legs, finding a bed big enough for my furry friend has always been a challenge. I used to have a smaller size Coolaroo for him to lay in, but unfortunately, after years of use, it ended up injuring his neck (my room is too small to have the larger coolaroo that he requires and does have access to outdoors). That's when I knew it was time for an upgrade, and after eyeing the Pet Fusion dog bed for a few years, I decided to give it a try. The coolaroo is an excellent product just make sure you have the proper one for your pet. Let me tell you, I wish I had purchased this bed sooner. It would have saved me a $500 vet bill and pain for my beloved pet. Setting it up was a breeze, although it did require an extra pair of hands as the bed is quite large. The big zipper part is for the pillow that is already in the top, while the smaller zipper around the non-slip bottom is where you install the large mattress. Be careful to put it in the correct way, and give it a couple of days to fully expand. The bed's soft canvas exterior on the pillow side feels very strong and well-made, and the color is just beautiful. But most importantly, my dog got right in without any hesitation, and now he has a safe and comfortable bed to lay in. No more tripping over Coolaroo legs or worrying about him getting hurt while he sleeps. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend the Pet Fusion dog bed to anyone with a large pup. Don't make the same mistake I did - invest in a quality bed that will keep your furry friend safe and comfortable. After being shown the bed a few times, later in the evening Faolán went and got his new Elk Horn bone and hopped right into the bed and started happily chewing away. My STAR pup (8 yrs old). I am beyond pleased with this purchase and laughed so hard. Check out the pics! lol, AAA++++ ***Note:****** If you put the foam in and it looks like it was not cut to the right size, take it out and turn it and it will fit. I put mine in the wrong way at first. It is a rectangle shape not a square. Hope this helps.

Perfect for senior dogs with joint issues.
I would like to start off with the size of bed I bought and the size of my dog, Charlie, to help others decide. Charlie is a Bearded Collie mix (not Boarder Collie...people never seem to hear/read Bearded). He is 72lbs and he is long (as in height and leg length). If he is on his hind legs he easily reaches my shoulders and above, and I am 5’7”. So when he lays down he either curls up into a tiny ball and looks small or he will stretch out and can take up an entire loveseat. I ordered him the XL bed to ensure he could stretch out. While he can’t lay totally flat when he stretches out I noticed he is enjoying putting his legs and/or head up on the bolster around the bed. I posted pics of him (being joined by his sister Smoosh, to his dismay) but he never looks as big as he is in his pics. Also, please excuse the bad do. He is getting a haircut and bath next week but I wanted to get this review up to hopefully help others. A little history. Charlie is 12 and has been showing signs of having issues with his hips (his Vet says his weight is perfect for his size and he is healthy so it’s just old age). He had a memory foam bed from Serta that I was never all that impressed with but he seemed to like it. It was about $100.00 less than this bed and you can tell why. The Serta bed PALES in comparison to the size of this bed and the foam support of this bed. The foam is nice and thick and squishy. And I like how the bolster almost encircles the bed so he doesn’t hang off of it. It keeps his body contained on the mattress. Anyway, three days ago Charlie slipped and fell while bouncing at the cats. They stalk him. They will stare him down and creep up on him. In return he stares them down and then he will eventually bounce at them. They scatter and he is proud of himself. Whatever this exchange is they repeat it often between the four of them and at the end of the day they are all best buds and love one another. However, this particular fall ended up with him injuring his leg. By the end of that day he would not put weight on his back leg. With his bad hips it was a struggle for him to get up and down. By early morning Friday I was in tears thinking this injury might do him in. In desperation I searched the internet for orthopedic beds that would be better than what he had. I was thinking that might help take some of the pressure off his hips. The reviews on the internet led me to this bed. I purchased it and the best shipping I could get via Prime was for it to arrive on Saturday. Friday morning I woke up and he was worse. I was helping him get up and move around. I talked to my Vet and they said to keep an eye on him and bring him in Monday if it didn’t improve. It just seemed to continue to get worse. By Saturday morning it was not good. I was crying thinking I was going to lose my dog. He would cry out if he just shifted wrong in his old bed. This new bed finally arrived around 2:00 pm on Saturday so I quickly put it together and helped him move beds. It is super easy to put together. Within minutes he was sawing some serious logs. This was the most content I had seen him since he injured his leg. He spent most of the day in his new bed. By 8:00 pm Saturday night Charlie was getting up and down with a slight struggle but actually walking around and putting a little weight on his leg. By 9:00 pm his personality was back and he was walking around and putting more weight on his leg. In fact, he was even acting silly. When Sunday morning rolled around not only was he walking around (gingerly) and putting weight on his back leg but he got up from his bed without a struggle. He had been having a little bit of a hard time getting in and out of his old bed prior to the injury due to his hips. It has been less than 24 hours of having this bed but Charlie’s injury is massively better AND his hips aren’t bothering him when he is getting up and down from this bed. To see my senior dog struggle less means the world to me. I am so happy I bought this bed. It collects hair like crazy but I will deal with the hair if it means my senior dogs joints are getting some much needed relief. Unfortunately I can’t comment on how waterproof it is, etc. yet but the cover does feel like a good waterproof material. The foam has expanded even more too and when I have knelt on it to interact with Charlie it’s definitely soft. Seriously, if you have a senior dog you should consider this bed. To see so much of an improvement in less than 24 hours of receiving this bed is just amazing.

Best dog bed ever
I've owned this bed since 2018 (two actually). I bought it for an elderly dog and raised 2 pupies on it. The mattress and the waterproof cover is still in perfect shape and every dog that lives in or visited my house uses it. the cover material has been durable. After nearly 7 years of use, washing and abuse by the puppies, the zippers and one seam on the cover have died. Fortunately, PetFusion sells a replacement cover for a reasonable price. I'm very happy with these pillows. No other pillow I have owned has lasted anywhere near 7 years and I expect to get another 7 years out of the pillows.

Dog loves it. He's in it most of the day.
This is our second one of these. The first one is still in great shape, but I wanted a second one for my office. My wife and I both work from home and he stays in this bed most of the day while we're working. He doesn't get up stiff or limping. He also likes putting his head on the raised sides. A little pricey for what it is, but if it keeps him comfy then it's worth it.

My dog jumped in it before I could put it together
She loves it ..a small fits in a medium crate with room to spare, A water proof cover on the inside protects the cushion. The outside is sturdy I covered it all with a washable towel so I can clean that weekly. No strange smells just a nice product rated the BEST and I am happy with the detail of it. Totally breaks down for ease in washing. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands so I opt to cover it with a towel and wash that but that is not necessary at all. I wanted to pay less and you could get another product for less but you would not get the quality or the support for the dog in your life! You will BOTH be happy!!! I got the medium dog is 9lbs plenty of room for her and her sister is 12.5 and if she pushes it, she can get in there from time to time. Plenty of room for the 9lb toy poodle !

Do not put any where near a fire or heat source !!!!
OMG DO NOT PUT THIS DOG BED NEAR A FIRE!!! A tiny spark came out wood burner and literally within seconds this dog bed was fully ablaze filling the room with the most toxic black smoke - I only just managed to get it outside and it burned furiously for 10minutes. Absolute fire Hazard !!!! When it started to melt an oil like substance leaked out that burned like nothing I’ve seen before !! I feel we had a lucky escape, totally un fire retardant!!!!!!

Murphys review.
Hi my name is Murphy, I am a 12.5 year old black Labrador. My mum noticed that although I am remarkable for my age I was grumbling a bit as I lay down and a bit restless, despite already having a very good magnetic therapy bed. I had slowed up a little on my walks too. Mum decided some overtime was in order so she could treat me to a Human grade memory foam orthopaedic lounger. When it arrived I knew it was for me and I eagerly waited for it to be set up then I got in. I was sleeping deeply within minutes and I have a bigger spring to my step again. I have the XL as I am a big Labrador and this is plenty big enough. The headrest are an important feature as I like to use them a lot. I had a separate pillow on my old bed. I tell anyone who will listen about my bed and mum says it's the best money she ever spent. I have to agree. I LOVE IT. From Murphy.

Si te he ayudado dale a útil ;)

Don’t fuss about the price!
I have two dogs; a seven year old German Shepherd (Bruce) and a three year old Cockerpoo (Toby). They’ve always slept together so I have to buy very large dog beds - mainly those oversized pillows that retail for around £20. Like everyone else I did mull over the economical feasibility of this bed, but Bruce was showing signs of arthritis and needed something more comfortable and supportive for his aching joints. I read all the (excellent) reviews and looked at the long term benefits of buying such an expensive dog bed compared to my usual (much cheaper) choice of bed. Ultimately I came to the relatively easy decision that my dear Bruce deserved something better than a lumpy pillow for his old age. Despite this I still had to squeeze my eyes shut when I pressed the ‘buy now’ button - at just under £180 for the largest size it did sting!! However, once I’d put it together and my dogs immediately fell asleep on it, I knew that I’d made the right decision. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another of these beds - though I don’t envisage having to replace mine for a very long time. The XXL size is bigger than I thought it would be and takes up A LOT of space, I’ve actually had to rearrange the furniture to accommodate it but both Bruce and Toby have ample room to either stretch out or snuggle up. As you can see from the pictures they look extremely comfortable and once they’re in the bed for the evening they’re happy to stay there! The bed arrived within 24hrs in a very large box - be careful when opening it if you’re using something sharp! The memory foam base is what makes this bed so heavy - it’s a really thick slab of quality memory foam (about 6”) and takes quite a bit of effort to get it into the waterproof pillowcase. Once you’ve mastered that the next bit is much easier; just unzip the bed base, place the memory foam inside the space and zip it back up. This is a heavy bed, it doesn’t really need the non-slip base as the weight of the memory foam stops it from moving around. The bolster pillow offers plenty of support - a bit like one of those firm Tempura pillows - and I can’t see how it will ever sag as it’s so thick and rigidly attached to the base. Bruce weighs just over 40kgs and likes to snuggle his head into the bolster, yet it hasn’t lost its shape at all. Initially I let Bruce and Toby sleep on the bed just as it was, but I quickly realised that it needed some protection from the unavoidable stains two mucky dogs create, so I tucked a fleecy blanket into it. As luck would have it the blanket just happened to be a nice shade of charcoal grey that blended perfectly with the slate grey colour of the bed ???? If you lift the bolster slightly as you tuck your blanket in, the weight of the bolster will keep your blanket firmly in place. As you can see from the pictures, even with Bruce and Toby changing position several times, the blanket hasn’t moved at all. Apart from making the base ultra soft and cosy, the blanket helps keep the base cleaner and fresher for longer - and just a quick wash of the blanket is all that’s needed to keep it that way. I noticed some reviewers had opted for a Pet Fusion blanket specifically designed for this bed, but I already had my blanket, it’s just a regular fleecy blanket for pets and it does the job very well. I haven’t washed the bed’s cover yet but from what I can see it’ll just be a case of unzipping the cover from the bolster and memory foam and throwing it into the washing machine. If you’re looking for a ‘proper’ bed for your pet don’t worry that you’re spending more than is necessary, this is a high quality bed that is worth every penny and should last for many, many years. The comfort factor it brings to Bruce (especially) and Toby made this such a worthwhile purchase for me. Buy one of these beds and you won’t doubt that you’ve made the right decision - let’s face it, who doesn’t want the very best for their pets?

WELL WORTH THE MONEY
lovely bed for my elderly boxer. Very supportive thick memory foam base and she loves the cushion roll at the top to rest her head on. I bought the large size for her after going through all the reviews and photographs and it fits her perfectly. very pleased with purchase
