How have I not had this?

This is a great addition to a shop vac. I've used shop vacs for years and never realized that I was missing this part. However, after adding it, I don't want to be without it. You quickly realize how awkward the hand positions are when you are vacuuming with just the standard attachments. All of my storage spots on the vacuum were already taken plus this handle means it won't sit in some of the holes that don't account for the hand guard, so I found just attaching this to the end of one of my long sections was a good way to keep it with everything else.

Much easier to do large amounts of cleanup

My biggest complaint about my excellent shopvac was that it wasn't as easy to use for long periods of time as my home vacuum. This hose extenders always came apart, and I spent a lot of time bending over to get good contact with surfaces. This little handle seems to keep all the bits together better and feels much better when using to vacuum our deck or when cleaning off the light fixtures over the doors. The finish on it isn't great, the handle, where you put your hand to grip it isn't well finished, so there are sharp plastic bits in there that hurt if you're not wearing gloves. I filed them down, but a handle should be safe for hands right out of the box.

Works great

This attachment makes using the shop vacuum much more comfortable. It fits my Ridgid hose perfectly and was less then the one labeled for Ridgid

Quality

The Craftsman shop vac attachment gets the job done, but the quality of the molding could be better. While it's not the most durable attachment I've used, it still does the job it's intended for. Overall, I think it's an okay product that could benefit from some improvements.

Very comfortable to use.

This vacuum grip handle is very comfortable to use. NO PAIN IN THE WRIST when using. Bought it for use with the wet vac and std vac when cleaning up in shop and garage.

More comfortable

Better grip to wreak less havoc on your shoulder, elbow, and wrist. I find I’m not pressing down as hard when using this, too, so your attachments won’t disconnect (as often).

Venía con la manija rota

El producto venía quebrado o roto de la manija, ósea la mitad que se le acopla ya q esta es hueca y tuve q pegarla con silicon y kola loca esto es muy decepcionante cuando compras un producto nuevo con marca de prestigio como craftsman y con un costo más alto de lo normal, de no haber sido por este hecho estaría muy bien ya que la parte inferior parece de plástico duradero (sería el colmo si no) y la argolla roja para desatorar parece q está bien, el detalle es q si se quebró por los maltratos de la paquetería pues no tiene muy buen augurio en cuanto a resistencia y si la mandaron así quebrada pues q pésimo control de calidad.

Perfect fit for my ancient Sears shopvac

My old shop vac didn't come with an operating handle to begin with, so I'm happy to have found this one. Fits the original and the newer hoses (recently purchased here as well) and makes vacuuming up debris off the garage floor that much more comfortable on my old hands (arthritic). Highly recommended. :)

Attention produit de qualité médiocre, le plastique est dur et a une épaisseur très fine...un choc et il casse comme du verre, je l'ai protégé avec un chambre à air de vélo....trop chère pour la qualité
