Seems good quality , but as a auto tech trying to dispense sealer from a soft sausage pack didn’t work . This is for hard tubes .

Works great - with limitations
I have used this gun for 8 tubes of caulk sealing a joint in my concrete driveway. No instructions were provided so the first tube of caulk was damaged by too much air. There is a built in adjustable regulator and it arrived in the full open position. No way to know that as the knob has no labeling and there were no instructions. So when air was applied to the caulk, the paper wraps of the caulk tube separated and air began to work through the caulk tube housing. By the second tube, I figured out that it worked much better with the air regulator turned very low. At that point, it does what it is supposed to do, smoothly dispense caulk. A second major issue is residual dispensing. This is not a problem during the second half of the tube, but if you get caulk flowing out of a full tube and want to stop during the first half, the caulk is compressed within the tube and keeps coming. Even though the gun has a pressure relief that lets the air pressure off as soon as you let go of the trigger, the caulk continues to flow for a bit so you have to have a rag or something to catch excess caulk for 20-30 seconds after you end. The gun works best at dispensing a full tube somewhat non-stop. With these limitaions in mind, clearly it's not pefect. But if you have a project requiring lots of caulk, this saves your hand. The product appears to be high quality. I would purchase it again.

Not perfect, but good.
It is far more compact than the large cylinder with plunger, but that comes at a cost of potentially pressurizing the inside of caulking tube. Rare, but it is a factor. I still can highly recommend this applicator.

A+ The tool you wish you had bought ages ago.
Once in a long, long time, you find a tool that you wish you had bought ages ago. This is probably that tool for you. It was for me. This is a very well made product that is an absolute pleasure to use. It is well balanced and the trigger is light so that there isn't a big fatigue factor. With a built in regulator, it is easy to get the flow exactly as you want it, no matter what the temperature or the caulking material. It is very simple to use; connect to a compressed air supply cut the tip off of your caulk tube pierce the seal load in the gun screw the front ring down caulk away! This makes laying down uniform caulk a breeze. If you are looking at a project with more than a tube or two of caulk, this is a dream tool. Small point: The description is not correct. This is the newer/higher end model, the Bexley. Mine had a manufacture date a few weeks ahead of my order.

Huge Savings of both Time and Effort
I had never used a pneumatic caulk gun before this one. What a shame! First, the tool is very well built. Every aspect seems to be top quality. Second, it worked flawlessly. I could not ask for more. I ordered the tool becasue I was placing an Advantech sub floor over the top of a tonge-and-groove ceiling. I wanted to glue the two materials together very well so there would be no squeeks or pops. I wanted to lay down the glue in a fairly tight pattern, and in controlled amounts. The gun did exactly what I needed. The subfloor panels were of various sizes, but the typical panel was about 25 square feet. I used approximately two tubes of glue (10 oz per tube) for each panel. The gun allowed me to apply each tube of glue in less than half a minute. I would have the second tube ready, with the tip cut and the foil pierced. Changing tubes took only seconds. My next task is applying caulking between the studs and the back of the wall sheathing before the insulation goes in. I am highly confident this tool will be invaluable.

Sometimes farts but it does not stink ;0)
Works well, and allows you use a smaller hole in tip for finer beads of what would otherwise be materials too thick use with a hand-operated gun, and a the same time to use less material, i.e. a single tubes last/does a lot more, in this way in the long run it will probably save me more than it cost, and avoid the blisters I got from trying to do what it can do easily. Only issue is that without a plunger and using a small hole (size of a 12 gauge wire) if you use too much air pressure to get the material out faster it will sort of fart air bubbles, not a big problem most of the time…

Excellent unit ease of use as well as "control of dispensing'' which turned out perfect on a job that required 15 tubes!!
Worth the price very happy with the unit. Chose this one as I wanted a heavy duty unit and felt this was better than others (durable look which turned out accurate @ first glance opinion and was realized in actual use). Got this because I sealed an entire inside of a speacialy built shed/garage and humidity is a concern. Used this to seal every joint in the structure! A simple push of the trigger and wow after the 4th tube you know pneumatic is the way to go! You need the regulator too thats built into the handle this is what you need with these types of tools and this COX one has it built right in! (reason I bought this one and the aluminum tube looked more heavy duty maybe able to take a fall or two from a ladder maybe better than the competi tion?)

Bubbles bursting through caulking
We bought this tool to do exterior caulking jobs on new construction and remodeling projects. So far, every time we used the gun, we had bubbles bursting through the caulking. It seems that the compressed air finds its way through the caulk tube and explodes the caulk a few times from the beginning to the end of a 300ml caulking sealant tube. This happens more often at the end of the tubes but sometimes, it bursts randomly. This makes this tool completely useless as it takes more time to repair the bursts and pops on the caulking joint than it would take to apply the caulk with a manual caulking gun. It also ends up destroying the clean job you are trying to do, which is really annoying. We tried the gun with plastic and cardboard caulking tube from different brands and the results were the same.
