This costume is absolutely adorable. My son is 8mos but will be 9mos Nov 12. I went with the 6-12mo size. He is kind of chunky but that was not an issue. I love that I didn't have to use anything to make the ears stay up. When crawling of course they fell forward but sitting up for the most part all you had to do was push the ears back into place and they stayed up. As for the headpiece in general, it was too short underneath the neck. He's got a big head so I couldn't close it (comes with Velcro) so I took three black hair ties, looped them together from one end to the other so that when I put it on him it would be as if he was wearing a helmet strap under his neck to hold his headpiece in place and it worked. Can't even see the hair ties cause the material around the neck on the dumbo top covered it for the most part. The belly part of this costume has a little cushion to make the belly appear round so the material is not flat like a t-shirt when put on. Also has a tiny elephant tail in the back and at the bottom of the front and back of this, there's 2 long Velcro straps to put over his pants so that the top itself won't ride up or anything. I didn't have him wearing a shirt underneath as it's not cold at night here in Las Vegas yet. We got tons of compliments, it was great!

Runs very small, no stretch
My baby was 9 months and got the 12-18 kk and I couldn’t even close the Velcro, she’s in the smaller side but couldn’t finish getting this on her. When requested the label for return, it’s now arriving late, waiting for my refund.

Adorable Dumbo costume!
Fits my 1 year-old daughter great. Won't be hard to find sweatpants to match. We love it!

SNUG!
I went with the 6-12 month size after reading the reviews. Sooo glad i did! My son can fit into both 6 and 9 month clothing, he weighs 18 lbs, pretty average size for an 8 almost 9 month old baby. The suit fit snug but not so snug that I had too hard of a time getting him into it and it was stretchy enough that it was comfortable on him. The head piece fit well but once I Velcroed the chin strap it made it way too tight around his face/neck. I bought some Velcro and just made a little extender and it was perfect after that. The material is really soft and the tummy is padded which adds to the cuteness. The ears are floppy so they tend to go back and forth with however they position their heads, it's not made so the ears stick out all the time. Overall I was pleased with this little costume and the price. I would say if your child is in a size larger than 9 month clothing then it would def be a gamble to order the 6-12 month size.

Adorable! A little small!
The Dumbo costume is absolutely adorable! The only complaint I have is that it was a little small. My daughter was a preemie, so she is very petite. She roughly wears 6-12 month clothing with 12 months being baggy on her. We ordered the 6-12 month size costume and it barely fit her. We did make it work, but it was very snug under her chin and the snap between her legs. I would definitely size up! Other than that, we loved the costume and got multiple compliments throughout the night.

Too small, but we ordered a size up! Super soft and cute!
Personally, my daughter loves it. She loves elephants, and loves Dumbo, so it is fantastic. She likes to play with the ears and the tummy on this super soft costume. However, order it big. We ordered the 12-18month size, but she is an 18lb 9m old. It fits her perfectly. So we are glad we ordered a size or two up. I don't think it would fit her if she were to grow too much by Halloween

Head piece Velcro is tight on a 9 month old.
I really loved the look of this costume!! However my son wears 9 months, and the head piece did not fit correctly. I could not come close to having the Velcro meet each other for the head piece to stay on, which was such a bummer because my son hates things on his head so it was a fight to keep it on. The body piece fit perfectly! (I bought the 6-12 month size)

Material muy bonito pero justo del gorro
Esta increíble el material, lo pedí en talla 12/18 mss porque mi bebé va a cumplir 1 año pero el gorrito viene demasiado pequeño para abrocharlo así que lo ajustarte con un listo o resorte. En general si tienen un bebe sugiero lo pidan una o dos tallas más grande ya que viene poquitín justo

Un disfraz muy tierno
En general me gustó mucho, el único detalle es que viene un poco reducido, a mi bebé le quedó justo y eso que se lo pedí un poco más grande de talla.
