Great looking

Great looking costume. Of course it’s thin. Don’t know how long it is going to last specially if it goes to wash, but it is a great looking costume.

Missing arm cuffs.

We were missing the arm cuffs. It was for a school play and there are 3 Robin Hood’s that need to match exactly. Now I’m not sure what we will do.

No bottoms

Dont let the picture fool you, this costume does not come with the pants! I got ready to shoot a film scene and had the actors try the costumes on (the adult version as well) and they had not bottoms. Quality and everything else is great tho!

which will be nice when it's chilly on Halloween

We ordered this costume in XL for my 10 year old son, who is 5'1" and about 80 lbs. The shirt fits him well, a bit wide in the waist and the sleeves are a hair short, but he is tall and thin, so that's expected. The material is a typical inexpensive costume material - thin cottony-polyester blend. The buckles will not stay buckled, even for a short period of time with any movement (I'm talking he put it on, I buckled it, and when he turned around, they all opened up). I will use velcro tape to fix that before Halloween. The wrist gauntlets fit well and are quite thick, which will be nice when it's chilly on Halloween. The belt and boot covers are an inexpensive faux leather material that appears quite flimsy. The belt fits, though. The boot covers are quite wide and kept slipping down to his ankles. I thought it was because his legs are thin, but I put them on and they were wide even on my adult calves. I will be using velcro tape to adjust these as well, to ensure they stay up on his legs during trick or treating. We are using a bow and arrow set we already had to supplement the costume. And, you will need to supply your own pants. My son will just wear black pants and boots to complete the look. Overall, my son was very pleased with the costume top, and will likely be wearing it around the house after Halloween, so even if some other elements of the costume are somewhat lacking, that makes it worthwhile. :)

Nice looking costume

Decent outfit. The buckles on the vest would be better if they were permanent as they tend to become loose anyways and then want to tear. But it is a cheap cosplay / Halloween costume. He enjoys it and it was a good fit.

Will use for a LOTR/Hobbit dwarf costume

Ordered this for both a Halloween costume and a play performance this year, as a dwarf costume. My son usually wears a size 10 to 10-slim, and the size large fit fine. He especially liked the wrist gauntlets. Likely won't use the boot covers. The belt is big on my skinny boy, but if we overlap the velcro closure as far as possible, we can make it work. Only weakness is the buckle "fasteners" along the chest -- these buckle through once without catches on the other side to tuck the ends through, so the ends flop around. Thinking they might come undone easily, as well. Bought a battle axe separately and the Bofur hat (excellent quality) also from Amazon, and he's thrilled. Quality is a slight step up from the usual flimsy, so I think it will last through both events.

Surprised at the value!

The quality is quite good. The vest buckles don't really stay closed but the hoodie and gear fits really well and seems well put together. We used this for a Link costume but it served perfectly. I'm really glad we got this one rather than one of the official Link setups

it was good for Halloween

Based on other reviews I ordered an extra large for my 8year old. He is a little more husky than an average 8 year old. The extra large fit perfectly. The buckles on the shirt did not work. They were missing the piece to thread through the other side. I ordered it just before Halloween so I had no time to exchange or return. Overall, it was good for Halloween.

It fit true to size and was like the picture shown. It is decent quality and makes a great Halloween costume! My son also uses it for dress up and it’s still holding up!

The costume quality is decent for the price and looks rather authentic, when paired with a long bow and arrows. The sizing does run small, that would be my only complaint. I figured a large would be plenty big for my 8 year old who is 53" tall and 78 lbs. It was snug when he tried it on. It definitely wouldn't have worked with layers underneath. I was able to do a hassle free exchange through Amazon for a size XL.
