Well Made, Very Comfortable, Plus Tummy Control!

Note: The person using this product in our household is my wife. I'm transposing her thoughts on the product for this review. My wife gets a few new swimsuits each season and this year was no exception. These Speedo high-waist bottoms have been one of her go-to bikini bottoms this year. My wife loves that the bottoms are modest, comfortable and high-waisted which helps with tummy control and to flatten the belly. She loves the look too and described the bottoms as a sleek bikini cut. The bottoms pair easy with many different bikini tops. My wife has the 'peacoat' colored bottoms and has paired them with coral and green tops and looks great! After many cycles thru the wash they still look brand new.

High waist, good coverage, durable

Speedo is always my favorite for great fit and durability. These are high waist, legs are low cut, and I get full cheek coverage. This is a leisure cut instead of their traditional athletic cut. It's double lined throughout. The outer material is durable, resistant to pilling and fraying from sitting on concrete, on a board, etc. In my experience speedo brand lasts for years for an avid swimmer, whereas generic suits start fraying and falling apart after one season. It's also UPF 50 fabric.

Could be better!

I’m really happy with these bikini bottoms! Excellent quality and the fit is great. Plenty of coverage and still cute. I also love the color. I’m 5’4” and 170lbs. The size 14 fits well, possibly a little on the larger side. I think I could have done a 12, but I still love them and I hate when swimsuit are too tight. Update: I had to update this review after wearing these a few times. They definitely run big. Too baggy in the crotch area, not flattering. And I always wear a 14 or XL in swimsuits. The other thing is the band around the top of these bottoms. There is an elastic band under the fabric all the way around the top. It keeps getting twisted, so the top part doesn’t lay flat.

Very comfy bathing suit bottoms with UPF protection

Very comfy bathing suit bottoms made of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex. Easy to care for by hand washing. These bottoms have UPF 50+ protection that blocks up to 98% of the sun’s harmful rays. One really nice feature is the piling resistant fabric. I can even sit on the pool’s edge without worrying about my suit catching or pulling. The color is a nice teal.

a little snug, you may want to size up

It gives me a muffin top, so I may need to size up. The bottom is very substantial and feels like a lap swimming suit more than a fun one, not that you can't wear it for fun, it just has the substantial feel to it. It fits me well except for the muffin top, maybe I just have some extra belly fat.

Excellent Quality

My wife recently got a Speedo swimming top, and was very impressed with the quality, so I got her this matching bottom. It is also excellent. The sizing was right on target, as cited in the product description. The fabric is comfortable and form-fitting, and the design is flattering. After numerous wash/dry cycles, the color, fit, and stitching are all perfect. Highly recommend Speedo in general, and this bottom in particular.
