Nice chair/stepstool

Not sure I'd agree that it was super easy to assemble. I struggled a little with securing the middle step. Once fully assembled, it looks nice. Seems sturdy. From floor to top step is about 17 inches, so it is smaller than a standard bar stool, but the height is enough for me to reach the top shelf in my cupboard. Overall I'm happy with it!

Sturdy and retro fashion

This is a remake of the popular stool many of us saw in our grandparents kitchens. It’s improved because instead of the steps swinging out the seat lifts up. Tall enough to reach your top cabinets even if you are short. Sturdy and light weight. So glad to find it in a modern color.

Not the same as my old one

Primarily I use my stepstool as a chair at my kitchen counter. I love it for that purpose. I also use it to reach some of my shelves to get dishes down. I must say I feel the steps are not as sturdy as my old stepstool. I liked the old design much better. These steps don't seem to have a smooth mechanism when I pull them out. However, my old step stool (probably 25+ years old were the Cosco brand) has no exact duplicate.

It’s ok

This chair is smaller than a standard counter stool. It’s ok for petite people but there’s one down side: the sticker on the front seat states “Do not stand on the padded seat”. As a petite person, I can’t reach the top shelf of my cupboard conveniently if only standing on the higher step. And the assembly instructions need more details, or putting more stickers on parts to identify front, rear, left, right…It must be better than letting customers relying on the uncleared pictures. So deduct one star.

I love it!

It's sturdy. It's a good size but small enough that it doesn't get in the way. I love the color and have found many kitchen accessories to match it. I'm very happy with this step stool!

It's built a little on the lite side but the wife's 95lbs soaking wet and she likes it.

Seat is smaller than older ones

The stool looks beautiful. My 50 year old stool bit the dust. However the seat on the new one is a lot smaller making it uncomfortable to sit on. Small bottoms will have no trouble. The steps on the old one had to be lifted upwards to move them forward or backward. Steps on the new one slide back and forth. Prefer the older method.

Great aid for my kitchen

Love my stool it's so different, and easy to use. Felt it could have been a bit more robust. Was a little pricey for what it is, but still love it, great in my kitchen

Really retro

The steps are not attached to the chair like the old ones were nor are they detachable. Otherwise it’s a nice chair and just what we were looking for.
