Terrible software, good lights
The lights were easy enough to install into the actual computer, however the wiring to the lighting node PRO was difficult. I use all corsair hardware/ lighting so it was easier, but corsair uses very specific cables and any other lighting you want to run through the lighting node requires a converter. Once you get it all set up, the iCue software works decently but is definitely a worse software compared to chroma. Once you figure it out, it'll do what you need it to though.

Beautiful lighting.
Beautiful lighting. No issues with software, and the lights give a "street-light" vibe.

1 problem
Lighting wise they are good, definitely light up the case the way I want and get rid of the dark spots in the case that the RGB lights on my case fans don’t reach. Seeing as my case fans are also Corsair and I already had a Corsair lightning node from those installed it was really easy to install. The strips being both magnetic and having adhesive on the backside is nice. However I would recommend setting them in your case using the magnetic properties of it and figuring out the layout you want to go with. Then peeling the adhesive strip on the back to better secure it to the case. My one issue with these though is the durability of the product during packaging and shipping. My first shipment had the clear rubber coating with a clean break so I had to get a replacement from Amazon. Then my replacement one had a small piece of the clear rubber separating from one of the strips, not enough to be an issue just enough to be noticeable. I ended up not needing that particular RGB strip in my case. Whether it works or not will be left a mystery. I’m sure it does at that seems like a minor issue, I was going to attempt to use it in my case with just some hot glue to hold that piece down but as previously stated I ended up not needing it. If you live in an area where you can buy these in a brick & mortar store I would recommend buying it there rather than online, & checking the strips as soon as you buy them or before if the store will allow you. Hopefully they have multiple in stock so that if you do get one that is damaged in someway you can exchange it on the spot instead of waiting for a replacement shipment

Solid Product 1 Thumb up
The media could not be loaded. *UPDATE* Edit: Thought I'd come back and add a star due to the product being more stable and frequently updated. There was a recent update that added more lighting options which I love that they could do that therefore a star has been given. So after purchasing the HD120 RGB fans from Corsair, I did so under expectation of a device release to control the full RGB spectrum later on. THIS product is that device. You DO get FULL control of the RGB spectrum on EACH LED STRIP and fans but no actual individual LED controls and you customize thru Corsair's LINK 4.0 Software. Please Read Detailed Review when considering purchase Pros: -Easy Customization -Simple install -Magnet & Sticky LED Strips -Small able to fit in confined areas of cases Cons: -Not as bright as NZXT's Hue + LED strips -Instead of the more common 4 pins on each end these strips have a wire which makes a gap between strips unless folded or zip tied -5 Different light functions only (Rainbow, Color Wave, Color Pulse, Color Shift, Static, and Temperature) NZXT's Hue + Contains 7+ functions and 5 being unique (wings, candle light, alternating LED lights, etc) -Very Short usb 2.0 header to USB shorter than NZXT's Hue +'s -(NOT so much a con) But packaging for the same priced product NZXT's Hue + has a more simplified and elegant style of packing compared to a simple thrown in a box product slapped with a logo corsair lighting node pro. Overall even though there are more cons than pros, I love being able to control the RGB HD120 fans finally and that was my goal. Just very disappointed in Corsair for making people buy a Lighting Kit if they want to control their fan LEDS. If you need a lighting kit only I don't recommend this product. But if you plan on buying corsair RGB fans or already have them than YES definitely get this. REMINDER! -You HAVE to own the 6 port Fan Hub to control the fans RGB LED's EDIT: I hope Corsair plans on releasing an update for Corsair LINK to enable more light modes and customization. Only compared to Hue+ since thats what I had and returned for this product

good experience
Bought this combo to replace a cheap lighting strip and to have iCue control over my HD120 fans. Nice quality packaging and installation was relatively simple. Magnets on the strips rendered the adhesive redundant in my metal case and allowed easy shifting of the light strips. The strips, only requiring one connection, can be daisy chained together easily, however cable management still took a bit of thought on my end. Worked the first time, and I was dazzled by how bright and colorful these LED strips are. As for the software, iCue is excellent. The level of customization it enables is so deep that I'm still struggling to learn how to use it (take notes, Gigabyte), but after a quick search online, I downloaded some nice themes made by the community. Will probably be making my own soon. Overall good experience. If you're willing to pay the sometimes high entry fee (or just stupid like me), Corsair's RGB products are unparalleled.

poor diffusion, but I'm all in on corsair's RGB ecosystem (iCue)
I had a set of Phanteks light strips prior to these that had much better light diffusion, but were neither addressable nor controllable with iCue, so I bought these. I'll likely swap these out for the corsair kits that are meant for monitors though because those have much better light diffusion. That said, they work well enough and have a decent brightness. I did have to replace one kit, as the node-pro it came with wasn't functioning but Corsair Customer service has been pretty good to me every time I've had to do this with other products as well.

Almost perfect, just need tweaks and better integration.
This is a great product - it was almost, but not quite a 5 star item. The quality is the usual Corsair product staple but there are little things that bug me, due to lack of profiles to use with the devices. Also I hoped I could program them at a LED level i.e I have HD120 and I had hoped that I could make 3 or 4 LEDs red, 3 green, and 3 blue per fan but nope, addressable does not equal programmable. But what you do get is very impressive - my favourite being rainbow wave which kind of does what I wanted but with more colours. Software integration is not completely there yet - I have to use Corsair LINK for half of my LEDs and MSI software for the rest. My Corsair LED memory gets confused sometimes between the two pieces of software too and does not integrate with the other Corsair products within LINK. This means it gets left on its own, which is a shame because my second favourite profile is called night and switches everything off... apart from the memory. Hopefully this will improve with the rumour that Corsair sync will be merging the already available devices including MSI motherboards into one piece of software. One other thing is that I wish the LEDs had a frosted outer piece to them so that they weren't so harsh to the eyes. Still they are still super cool I just hyped them up before I got them so was a tiny bit disappointed.

Wish i'd invested more in something more practical, like a better PSU
Ah... the classic Corsair rats nest RGB. You'll see what I mean in a minute. (If you plan on RGB fans), a little better if you buy a commander pro. But first, Corsair's iCue is like most RGB software. Awful. Doesn't sync properly, buggy, GUI is unintuitive, it even tells me my PC has 3 AIO coolers on my CPU. Nice. I've had two Node pros because the first didn't work at all, the replacement had 3 strips die within a month, They are super fragile. Even right now, I can see one single LED light flickering blue like it's nearly dead, so this one might end up going back too. The other big problem, or maybe the worst depending on your point of view. The wiring. Yeah, RGB wiring is always more work but Corsair weren't happy with how bad others were doing it so they did their own. It's.... well. It's absolutely horrendous. I can't even take a picture of it for you because It takes me about an hour to get the back panel on just because it's so ludicrous. Make sure you have a LOT of room in your back panel, especially if you're using a lighting node core as well for your fans. Then the commander pro.... It's just an absolute mess. No way are you going to get any decent cable management. I regret all my RGB now, I have 6 Corsair RGB fans. That means 12 fan headers 6 headers go to the lighting node core, 6 go to mobo headers for power, 4 light strips to the node pro, a strip to extend those strips round the back to the connector on the mobo, SATA to the node pro and another SATA to the Lighting Node core. Then SATA to the Commander Pro (if you have one), a USB header from the node core to the mobo, another USB header to the mobo from the node pro........It literally just goes on until you're left with two full hands worth of cable that you have to hide....somewhere.... I mean come on Corsair, there must be a way to make like 1 hub that everything plugs into. And no, the commander pro doesn't count because charging an extra £50! for a box that takes up more room to plug everything into. Makes my head hurt just remembering wiring it up.

Great strips, disappointing application
Very nice, big and bright LED strips. Easy to install and use. They filled my big Coolermaster HAF X just fine. MAGNETS! really useful for the install as I ended up repositioning them a few times to get it right. They come with extension cables for between each strip, and from the box to the strip. The box uses SATA power and Micro USB 2.0 for OS access; adaptor included if you have a spare USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. The Link program, however, is very limited. There are a few preset effects, only two of which are "channel mode", which means all four strips can act as one longer one; which is VERY disappointing. There doesn't seem to be any way to side-load new effects or to create your own. Edit: Note that there are only three brightness settings too. All pretty bright...

great with minor flaws
i love corsair lighting , the software is a dream and easy too set up and use yes rgb is just aesthetics .. but boy are they aesthetically stunning setting them up you get a node pro ( with the node version not the extension version ) this connects over usb and can be used internally and externally if needed but you would need sata power if you done that the light strips are great magnetic and sticky so versatile , where i dont like these is you get a few patching cables but no where near enough too get the lights into anything bigger than a mid case with wire management and hiding cables .. i had too source another extension for my build and still could not get all 4 in the front and rear of the case without wires showing .. this could be fixed with 1 extra extension and for them too be a tad longer then it would be perfect .. overall tho they are great and worth buying for sure ..

Wish Corsair Sold these in a Diffused Version!
The media could not be loaded. Needed some Corsair RGB Kits for my new Z690-DDR5 12 Gen Build. Still not finished the build, however, RGB effects are great, although I do wish Corsair sold their RGB strips in a Diffused version for PC Cases, as their only Diffused set of LED strips are for the back of Monitors and are mains powered. However, overall effect Is awesome at night!
