Black Caps, Oxygen Sealed.

Great caps for the home brewer. I bought these because they are extremely affordable. You can buy them in bulk on other sites, but for 144 caps at this price, you can't beat it if you get the free shipping. I didn't need to sanitize them, however, if you are worried, you can sanitize them no problem. I buy different colors for the different beers I brew, e.g. Orange = Octoberfest, Yellow = Lager, Black = Stout, Purple = English Pale Ale, Green = West Coast IPA, etc.

Smooth but delicate finish

The finish on most caps were OK. Unfortunately, right out of the bag, most of them have surface scratches that expose the metal underneath, making them look cheap and resulting in an unprofessional job completion. The scratching is obviously caused by the sharp edges of the caps rubbing against each other during handling and shipping.

Perfect for bottling Kombucha

I bought these to use with beer bottles that I am repurposing as kombucha bottles. These arrived quickly, were well packaged, and work perfectly

Great Seal, not so great appearance.

These caps have an excellent seal. I had a batch gone wrong where the bottles built up an insane amount of pressure, and the caps held all of the pressure just fine. The reason I only gave it four stars, however, is because the finish on all of the caps are scratched. It is obvious as the caps get shaken around in the package the metal edges scratch up the paint. If you take time to make quality labels for your bottles, having scratched up caps is a bit of a downer.

Exactly what I needed

Pretty straightforward, all of the caps were of good quality. No bad seals and packaged well for a great price. I'll buy again.

Nice caps for bottling beer

These bottle caps were used to cap a stout I brewed. I soaked the in Starsan to sanitize them, and then I used a capper to install them on the bottles. They worked great! Just be careful when getting them wet. If they're not properly dried off, they'll rust.

Work well. Good finish. Very sturdy. For some reason these work better with my handheld crimper - better than some others
