Wonderful!

We have a 15 yo pupper who has been having accidents so I bought these blankets to protect the beds since washing the beds themselves is a PAIN in the pattookie lol. Some of the reviews said they weren't waterproof as advertised but they have been wonderful for us! I bought 3 size larges: the white/cream one, the dark gray one and the pink one, and all 3 have worked perfectly. I have also washed all 3 and have not had any issues. I wash and dry them on delicate to be safe though. The ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is bc of the sliding issue some other reviewers mentioned; it's like the two pieces are only held together by the stitching on the sides and nothing in the middle so they tend to move around (see pic of pink blanket) so I have to adjust them continually but really, for the benefit they give, that is totally a non-issue for me! So far, wrapping them around the bed and tucking it in underneath has held the white & gray ones in place but I can't do that with the pink one bc that bed is larger so it won't wrap all of the way around. I am very happy with our purchase and would definitely purchase more in the future if need be.

Five dogs.. from 8 weeks to 13 years

I like the softness, love the beautiful pink color, it is easy to clean, the only issue I have is that the two sides are sewn on the edges and the fabric sort of slip and slides around, no issue if people are not also sitting on the couch in the same area, otherwise it just looks sloppy. Overall I still love the blanket and the dogs love the blanket. I can't vouch for it being waterproof.. my 8 week old shih tzu had an accident but it was maybe a teaspoon.. the couch was safe.

Puppy approved!

This blanket is super soft and very pretty. My dogs love to sleep and play on it. I have a loveseat in my office and my dogs spend a lot of time on it. This blanket protects my couch from drool (my golden drools a LOT when she's biting/chewing her toys). I believe it will also protect against any dog "accidents" (one of my dogs has periodic potty issues) - the waterproof material feels like it will keep my furniture safe. I also liked that this pink blanket is reversible and is a beautiful crisp white color on the opposite side and is also very soft. I bought the size Large and thought the blanket would be bigger but it is large enough to cover my loveseat (2 seat cushions). If you need to cover a full-size couch you may need a larger size (if available) or to order 2 blankets. Very happy with this product! A+

This blanket isn't only for pets ;)

I use this blanket because my man turns me into a hurricane! It's great for camping, keeping the bed dry, and a wind blocker. Very warm because of the waterproofing! I own 2 of them now!

NOT WATERPROOF, still a great blanket!

This blanket is one side minky and one side fleecy - like sheep wool but soft and warm (can't remember its name). These are 2 different materials only sewn together around the edges. The minky side is water resistant-ish. If you clean up a spill or accident right away it won't soak into the blanket. If you wait 5 min it will soak into the minky and depending on the size of the accident it spill, may or may not soak through. My puppy had a decent size pee on the blanket for a puppy, I took her straight outside to make sure there was nothing more to be done, and came back in. By then it had soaked into the minky and after cleaning it up (even pressing on it) it had not soaked through to the other layer. So while it is waterproof, I am still quite impressed and loving this blanket! Very easy to clean (on the minky side). When in the washer, minky holds a lot of water even after a regular spin, you may have to spin it alone and on high. Overall, really great blanket!

actually waterproof and soft!

this blanket is genuinely waterproof! one person sent a picture of the blanket and mentioned that there is a plastic film inside which is likely the reason it is waterproof, but either way if you let your dog have something like this, they should be supervised so the don’t chew through and swallow any plastic :( i do not hear or feel any plastic in the blanket but it could be a really thin material to repel to water ????‍♀️ i poured a whole cup of water onto this and not a single droplet made it to the other side of the blanket! some of the water got soaked into the top layer but it’s also pretty hydrophobic so a lot of the water was straight up repelled. i left the puddle there for a few minutes and still nothing went through so that makes me pretty excited so i don’t have to worry about my girl getting pee or anything on the furniture :)) it is really soft so that’s another upside!

Love the color!

I bought this based on the fact that it was supposed to be waterproof. Because I have an older diabetic cat that tends to pee in his sleep. What I am disappointed about is that it is not a solid layer blanket. The backside is only tack down to the outside seams. Which makes that part floppy. It’s not worth sending it back. Time will tell to see how waterproof it is… I’ll let you know. Would I buy this blanket again? No based on the way it’s made.

Para el costo y la poca durabilidad de la acción impermeable, no vale la pena la compra...

Compré este producto hace un mes, dos lavadas en ciclo delicado con jabón normal y suavisante le costaron para perder su función impermeable... Compré tres cobijas porque tengo una gata muy molesta que le encanta orinarse en el sillón... Como es muy dificil contratar limpieza continua del sofá, pensé que esto sería buena idea sin que se viera taan feo mi sofá, ningun cubre sofa me ha funcionado y pensé que esto sería más util que ponerle un cubre cama impermeable al sofá. Bueno, seguiré con el cubre cama porque estas cobijas ya no sirven... son bastante suaves, pero tampoco son la gran cosa como para pagar prácticamente 1000 pesos por la versiñón más "grande".

WATERPROOF yes but liquid runs off the sides

The urine pools and runs off the sides onto what ever the dog was lying on. It repels the liquid but nothing to absorb it.

It is a beautiful pink blanket , lovely and soft on one side with fleecy wool on the other side. You wouldn't know that it is waterproof. We brought it for our older who had incontinence and with this blanket she was able to stay indoors over night. Unfortunately she only got to use it for a short time as she died a couple of days later. But our other dog is using it just as a blanket over her bed, much easier to wash a blanket than the dog bed.

Totally waterproof so far

Purchased this product as my cat gets frequent UTIs and pees on the furniture. I have this on my bed with the white fleecy side up as other reviews mentioned liquid puddles on the other side. I've been using for 2 months now and it has never leaked. I have washed it and dried it in the dryer multiple times and it has not shrunk. Also, it's just a soft, nice blanket. This product was a life-saver for me!

Any other blanket or towel will do the same. The seams started to unravel, after a few washes.
