Your new best friend - step up your hydration game

Okay, that title may seem over the top, but this, on a mason jar, has been my constant companion since I got it. I even take to it bed! I so appreciate it! I ordered this infusion lid along with the regular lid (same product without the removable basket underneath), and now wish I had just ordered two of these (especially since they're the same price). This has transformed my hydration levels - I seriously drink so much more water because of this, because I can put a chopped-up lemon in and chug away without getting seeds or rinds. (The lemon just gives the water enough extra flavor to make it more desirable. Supposed to be good for your acid/alkaline levels too.) The increased water intake is especially good for me given the dry climate I live in. I like that the basket is removable, not only for cleaning but also because I can mix and match which top I put it under (I got two different colors). As I remarked on the basic top: Fits very well, easy to insert into the top of the jar but still seals tight with a band holding it down. Has been leakproof so far, and I frequently carry it around in the side pocket of my backpack, which gets tossed (gently) in the car seat or floor and slung on and off my back. The price is better than products that perform a similar function, and the quality is top-notch. Thanks Jarware!

Difficult to seal onto jar

I like the concept of this idea and use this item when I am making infusions with herbs or fruits. However, it is difficult to get a watertight seal using this item with a regular mason jar ring. You really have to work at it to get it to seat properly while screwing on the metal ring.

it is amazing! I have no issues other than that

Were it not for the fact that I have the hardest time screwing on the metal bands with this thing, I would mark this as a 5-star must have product. Because of how thick the insert is, it can be hard for the band to properly screw onto the jar. Once it's on however, it is amazing! I have no issues other than that. At the time that I purchased this one, I also purchased 2 other lids so that I could compare them. One of the lids that I purchased had a similar flip closure concept, but was twice the price. I would gladly return that one and get 2 more of these!!!

This lid with Keifer!

I started using this with my Keifer. Wow does it make a difference in how easy Keifer is to deal with. I put my grains and milk in the jar, then top with the lid and leave the top plug open, (resting on the top and not pushed closed, so the air can escape). Then the next day I shake and pour out into a glass to keep in the fridge. It filters the grains so I don't have to use a sieve. I tap the bottom to get the last bit out then open the lid and refill with milk. I clean the lid off once in awhile when it needs it, but not every day. I'm loving this!!

Good but not great

It was very difficult to find a similar product, so I think this works for now. I did not like it very much because it is difficult to remove and it leaks a little bit. So, it works but it is not ideal

quality control problem

It’s a set of 2 pcs of silicone lids. I received one of them defected, the rubber seal on drink hole is missing, and the lid is unable to lock in the closed position. And both lids leak.
