My daughter needed a clear water bottle for school but wanted an insulated one, this is close enough to clear, I couldn't find any better. It's really heavy without water even in it though - she seems to be fine with the extra weight in her backpack I guess. And the nozzle she drinks out of doesn't fold completely down like other water bottles, it's like half open. But again, she's happy with the purchase.

Noisy And Doesn't Keep Liquids Cold!

OK I have thoughts about this bottle. I love my water ice-cold. I usually buy another brand of plastic water bottles that can be half-filled and frozen, but they often fail over time and crack. I was looking for a good alternative that would keep my water REALLY cold, but this isn't it. First off, it's noisy and embarrassing! There's a little white stopper/valve that can be removed, and that cuts down on the noise, but not much. Literally the whole room can hear you sucking on this thing. The other thing is that it doesn't keep water ice cold. I followed the directions and froze the empty bottle for 4 hours or less, then added ice and water. By the end of the day, 4 hours later, the ice is melted and the water's not particularly cold. I won't be buying a supply of these to replace my plastic bottles unfortunately. And putting it in the freezer for 3-4 hours then filling it I a bit of a chore. So overall, my review is meh.

Grows mold!!

I meticulously clean everything and only give my daughter water. There was so much mold under the mouth piece and issue the lid where the straw doesn’t come out and you can’t see. I use pipe cleaners to clean all straws and still didn’t reach it. My daughter loved this as her tag along to daycare but I threw it away

Good, but..

I had a hard time finding a double walled, straw feed, flip lock water bottle. When I found these, I was very pleased. I bought one in blue and one in lavender. I don't find that the freeze features keeps the water as cold as I would like. The biggest disappointment is when sucking up the water, my lip often gets sucked into the opening. It makes an annoying noise. Must be a design flaw as I don't have that problem with other bottles.

My kid loves cold water. I put the base in the freezer before bed and fill it before school. So far no spills or leaks.

Cold Drinks

We live in Texas so cold drinks during a hot game or outdoor activity is a must. This water bottle has been a game changer since we got it! Loved it so much I even bought my daughter one!

Trust the negative reviews

Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give this product a chance and bought it. Like many of the negative reviews have stated: 1.) It's hard to drink through the straw. It's almost like there's a hole, and you barely get anything to come up through the straw. When you try to drink, this causes a loud, whistling or gurgling noise. 2.) The straw also is short and leaves a gap where you'll have to remove the lid to drink what's left. 3.) It doesn't stay cold. Even if the bottle is frozen, the liquid inside somehow doesn't stay cold for very long Stay away from this product. For the same price or even cheaper, you can find a freezer bottle that works much better and actually allows you to drink through the straw. The only positive I can think of is it looks pretty and you can clip the handle onto a bag strap.
