Really high quality.

This pot is maybe the highest quality pot I own. It has thick high quality stainless steel and the handle is mounted very securely. The finish is exceptional for a pot at this price. This is much, much better than what I was expecting. My next pots will be the same brand.

Robust, thick and high quality like All-Clad for a fraction of the price.

The glass lids are preferred over the all stainless steel lids because it allows one to monitor the cooking process with the lid on. This set, with the 2 and 3 quart saucepans, 10" frypan with curved wall but full upright sides, does double duty as a saute pan too. The one lid on the 8 quart stockpot fits the 10" fry pan. Aside from cast iron frypans and pot steamer inserts, this Cook N Home 7-Piece Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Cookware Set is almost everything a home kitchen needs and is sturdy enough to last generations.

Exactly what we were hoping for.

It's fully tri-ply, not just the base

Being fully tri-ply improves its efficiency. The glass lid allows the cook to monitor cooking progress without removing the lid, further enhancing efficiency. The inner surface has a very smooth satin finish, making it easy to clean. (I won't put my pots and pans in the dishwasher.) The solid handle is attached with two large rivets -- this pan should last a lifetime. All this at a very nice price point. Highly recommended.

Comparable to the Calphalon tri-ply stainless steel. Love it.

I was trying to replace the 2 1/2 qt pan in my Calphalon tri-ply set (it's an older set) and in the amazon Calphalon store they are upwards of $170 which is absolutely ridiculous. So I found this pan and while the lid is different, the pan is pretty similar in style. It's just as heavy and well made as the Calphalon and I've use it a few times and it heats well and cleans up nice. I'm going to get a second one.

Lightweight, Good Quality Cookware

I thought this cookware a little lighter than according to previous reviews I've read. But, I'm glad that they are. I can handle them easily, even when full of food. Not too light though. This is the first set of stainless steel cookware that I have bought. I've always used cast iron & non-stick cookware. Before, I bought another brand, very nice, very heavy 12" skillet (3ply clad all over). And the first time I used it, it warped on me. I could barely lift it or maneuver it with food in it. So I had to return it for a refund.. However, this 10" saute pan is extremely easy to use. A little smaller cooking surface than expected. (Only 7"). But I also have a cast iron 10" skillet that I use most of the time, so this saute pan is fine for my use. I saute onions, bell peppers, etc... and make my delicious ommelettes in it ... perfect! I really love how nice they look. How easy they are to clean, and how sturdy they feel even though not too heavy. I would prefer a better handle on the sauce pans for better control though. These handle are round and hard to grip when pouring liquids out of the pans. Just make sure to have a really good grip on them. The 8qt. stock pot is really nice. The 2qt. & 3qt. sauce pans are perfect for cooking sauces, veggies, rice, Mac & cheese, etc... This cookware set is well worth the price. Mine still looks brand new after cooking in them for almost a week. Because they are so easy to clean. And I can be a messy cook, even though, I'm told, I am a good cook. :-) If you have a really small budget like I do, and you want a really good quality cookware set? This set is what you are looking for. They look as if they will last for a long time yet to come!

Excellent cookware set

I am very pleased with this pot set. The pieces are easy to clean, the handles do not get hot, ever, when properly heated the skillet is non-stick. I took away 1 star because of the lids, they are flat so water collects on the outside of the lid increasing the risk of burns.

Excellent value, excellent set

This is a fantastic cookware set with excellent value. The build is super solid and theey feel like they will last a lifetime. They are heavy enough for a great feel but not overly so that they are cumbersome. They have an even distribution on the heat for consistent cooking and the handles stay cool. They look amazing with the reflective finish and the clear lids are so great. The stockpot lid fits onto the pan. You will not be disappointed with this set.
