Makes my canning grape juice a breeze!
I would love to give this 5 stars except I am noticing little rust spots starting in the lowest pan for water after just a few using/ less than a week of use. I’m REALLY hopeful that I don’t get rust in the top or middle part where the actual fruit is placed and juice is collected!!!! This is the best tool, hands down, for separating the grape seeds and skins that I have found to date. The price is FAR BETTER than the other options out there. It is BIG, but I have the room to store it and I’m glad it’s so big because it allows me to process A LOT of grapes all day long! When my grape skins have gone pretty flat (wearing oven mitt’s) I take the top two sections off to add more water to the bottom area, then I put it back together adding more grapes to the top section. I LOVE that I can fill my jars with the juice straight from the hose leaving the thicker sediment of the bottom for some time. I use this thicker sediment for other things, like jelly. I’ve also used this for making apple juice and the sediment at the bottom is a great apple sauce! It’s only been a few weeks in use and I’m practicing different things at this point, such as, adding sugar into my jars after the juice pours out so I can control the amount of sugar. Or going faster and adding the sugar into the middle area where the juice collects, stirring it when it’s full, then let it pour into jars. I have poured, put the canning lids on and just left it to cool and seal, but I’m not sure if I want to do this for juice that won’t be consumed right away. I’d rather take extra precautions for the ones that may stay on my selves for a couple of years!!!

Large capacity juicer. Easy to clean, but needs work on design
I bought this juicer and one of a similar kind that just had a spigot and no plastic hose to compare. I like some features of each. For this one, I love that it has a large fruit container, and a large water reservoir. I did not have to add water when I did a half batch to try it out. I don't know about a full batch. The half batch made a little more than two quarts of wonderfully clear juice in about an hour. It is easy to clean and I could even use the bottom part as a soup pot when I am not making juice, so it is versatile. The cons of this are the plastic tubing and the solid lid. The tubing gets very hot, and I am wondering on the safety of running the hot juice through this kind of plastic, if some plastic vapors are getting into my juice. I was able to put a pot on a chair by the stove, and let the juice run into the pot from the juicer. I then ladled out the juice into my quart jars. I tried filling the jars directly, but the hose was too long to do that comfortably or safely, because the jars also got very hot. Overall, this is much easier than using a Norpro sauce maker with the grape spiral to make grape juice, or pushing grapes through a sieve, and I will get a lot of use out of it next summer. I bought this a little late for this year's Concord season, but the red grapes I tried made delicious juice. The finished pulp from this juicer still has a lot of juice and flavor left in the grapes, and so I made a grape cobbler from the steamed grapes. If you want to get every last bit of juice from your pulp, you will need to use a secondary method to extract it, or else I just didn't let these steam long enough. I stopped the heat when the juice stopped running for 10 minutes. I also wish it had a glass lid, so I could check on the grapes without having to lift the lid, and let out the steam. Otherwise, it is a very nice juicer, and a great way to get clear grape juice for drinking or jelly.

Amazing
Great fresh juice to drink, salad dressings, can for later use, children enjoy (natural sugar vs grocery stores). Excellent!

Good specialty product
I used this for making peach juice, apple juice, and tomato juice. Takes a while, but it does what it says. Make sure you have a plan for the leftover pulp, though. I felt like it would be a waste to throw out the pulp so I ended up freezing the Peach pulp the first time I used it. Also need to peel and core the apples if you're going to make applesauce from the pulp. Just do your research before adding this big item to your canning tools. It takes up a good bit of storage space.

Fantastic
I have made multiple batches of juice with this. It's a gamechanger. One thing i do extra is place cheesecloth in the bottom of the colander to keep small pulp and seeds from making it into the juice. Anyone who makes juice for drinking or jellies needs to have one of these. It is so easy to use that i now plan on making vegetable and beef broth with it this winter. Get one!

Can’t say enough about this!
We planted grape vines as part of our adventures. Every year we get tons of Concorde grapes from our vines. We plop those vines into the steamer and make wonderful juice that we enjoy all year long once canned. Last year we juiced into a car it to make wine. It’s still fermenting, but I’m sure it will be amazing. The juicer is a very nice quality and well worth the investment. I plan on putting blackberries through it next year.

Juicer Steamer
I make grape juice. This unit works great and is easy to use. The juice is hot enough to process directly into sterile jars, without needing water bath.

Well Worth It!
This juicer steamer was bought as a replacement for an extremely old one which deserved a retirement. It is so shiny! Although it is slightly smaller than my old steamer, it was able to produce as much, if not more juice from my crabapples. So easy to clean...because it so shiny, you can see any residue left. I am hopeful that this steamer will give me as many years of service as the recently retired, ancient one.
