I have never had an issue with orders from Golden State Art. Their pricing is stable, shipping is timely and product is packaged very well. No damages no issues at all. The mats are pure white wrapped in plastic so they have never arrived dirty. I'm a photographer so I print many of my photos for sale and the plastic bags that come with the mats make it even better for display and storage. I once got caught in the rain at a local fair the plastic protected my work all that was needed to do was to wipe the water off. Another great simple feature is that the plastic bag is resealable a very handy feature because you just never know when you have to take the print and mat out the bag because you forgot to sign it.

great price

The only reason why I am not 100% happy w/ the product is because some of the picture mats have minor bends on the edges. They were packaged w/ corner protectors but they still were bent. Which may not have been a big deal on an other occassion but in this case my corners and edges were being judged. But I would buy this product again, it really is a great deal.

Mats are good, but bags have creases and ripples

The first time I ordered these, they were great. Packaged in appropriate sized box to protect corners, and clear bags were flat. Second time I ordered, they were packaged in a smaller box and the bags were part-way between the mats and backing boards and wrapped around to the top. Since the box was smaller, the bags couldn't lay flat. Unfortunately that left creases and ripples in the bags, which are very visible. I did an exchange and got another box, but they were packaged the same way with the creased bags. I cannot recommend these if they continue to package in the smaller boxes and fold over the bags.

Everything was perfect

The order came more quickly than I had anticipated! The mats were exactly as described. Frankly, I did not know exactly what I would get with the backs and bags, but now I'll never order mats without them, and I will being ordering more of these in the future. The price was much better than I have paid in the past at crafts store (and they did not have the backing and the bag.)

Such a good deal!

Didn't really need 10 mats but I'll pay at least this much for two anywhere else so this is well worth it. Great for artists selling their work as the mats come with the clear cellophane bags you see around matted artwork in a gallery, etc. I'll gladly purchase from these sellers again - the mats were packaged very well as to avoid damage and arrived very quickly.

Some mats are great; others, not

The mats are a mix. Most of them are fine, but a few have random dark spots on them, rendering them useless. Not very helpful when one buys the mats to highlight a picture.

Great value

Great white matting. I was pleasantly surprised with the shipping packaging, the product was nicely packed to ensure the edge of the mats did not have any curls / folds.

Matte boards arr8ved unscathed but the plastic sleeves were somewhat creased.

I used this product to display my watercolour paintings at an Artisan Fair. Unfortunately the plastic sleeves were a bit creased and I did not get the desired sleek look I wanted. I also ordered a pack of 25 in a smaller size- 8x10. Sleeves and Matt boards were perfect.
