Clear Plastic Makes It Easy To Find Things

A moderate sized clear plastic bag with black trim that looks both fashionable and basic. Though this is a weekender set to be used to lug whatever it might be that you choose to haul for your weekend jaunt, it can also be used for storage or as a purse. Some of the girls in those schools that demand see through backpacks and such may benefit from this. What I like about it being clear is that it makes it so much easier to find things that are strewn all over the inside of the bag. You ladies know what I'm talking about. Although, admittedly, I'm most likely using this for personal storage for things I'd normally keep in a drawer but have run out of space for. There's also a smaller pouch inside the bag that is meant for smaller items such as your make-up, hair ties, change, or any other things that need a bit more containment. The pouch zips but does not have any way to allow it to dangle on the outside of the bag. You'll need to keep it inside the larger bag or just use it separately. I realize that it needed to be put somewhere, but I wish that Amazon did not slap their new item sticker on the clear plastic. When I removed it, it left some of that awful sticky gunk which really stands out on all of this nice new shiny plastic. Now I need to play with some oils or removing gunk to see if I can get it safely removed. The dimensions are noted on the product page above. It's a nice size to use as a purse or as a cosmetic bag for travel. Not all that large though to store bigger and bulkier items and not large enough to use as a small suitcase. Clear plastic tends to not age well. It will sometimes turn yellowish and you'll also see any kind of grit and other debris that collects along the inside. Because of that, I'd suggest using it for showier purposes early on and then eventually relegate it to things like storage and basic packing needs after its lost its glamour. Cleans very easily and looks great. Very pliable, so it will mold easily into whatever is in your suitcase if you decide to pack it up. It comes stuffed with a clear plastic band to keep it in shape before use which also protects the surface from any kind of crinkling. If you want extra support along the bottom, you might want to cut it to the size of the bottom layer and then press it in place.

Perfect for sporting/entertainment venues that require see-through bags

This review is for the Allegro by Scunci Basics Clear Pvc 2Pc Jr Weekender Set. This set of clear PVC bags works well for a couple of purposes. You can use it to pack cosmetics, toiletry items, or other travel essentials to keep them neatly organized and easy to find through the clear material while on a trip. By storing it within other travel bags, it reduces the number of separate bags you may need to carry, but also protects clothing and other items from potential makeup messes. The other perfect use for these bags are at sporting/entertainment venues. Some of these venues require only clear see-through bags when bringing them inside through the entrances. This bag works well for that purpose, with plenty of space for a day-trip, zippered closure to keep things contained, and convenient carry handles. It is a simple product that is made well, and most importantly for a PVC based product, has no chemical smell at all. I like it.

No outer package

This comes as is, with no tags on it except one. So I took off a star because Scunci put their price tag RIGHT on the plastic and now I have a sticky spot on what was supposed to be a nice product for vacation. I got a lot of use out of the larger tote when we brought it on vacation last week, The smaller pouch is large and does take up a lot of room inside the larger tote, but I used it to store perfume atomizers that I was worried would leak in transit. The value of this was good but I am really annoyed still about the sticker on what is supposed to be a clear tote. I felt that made it feel cheap as there's no other labelling on the bags that they are made by Scunci except for that sticker.

Weekender bags

What you see is exactly what you get. The weekender bag is the option I ordered, and it comes either 2 clear bags. Nothing fancy, very basic, gets the job done. I like being able to see through to what I have inside so that I can easily locate whatever it is that I need. For just under $15, yeah I think this is a few bucks overpriced. But the quality is decent, they appear to be made well and I expect to see years of use out of the weekender bags.

Good value at this price point

I have quite a few clear plastic makeup cases and bags, of varying price and quality. This is a very nice case, but it's not the best. It scratches very easily, so it's not going to look nice for long. However, just for organizing anything that you need to see, it's a pretty good value at this price point. It's nicely designed with dual zippers that are well made and open and shut smoothly.

Perfect For Small Knitting Projects

I like to knit socks in the summer time. The problem is that socks are small and sometimes it is difficult to put them in something and then remember where I put them when I want to knit. These are PERFECT solutions for me. HOW THESE COME These come nested. There is cushioning in them to hold their shape. ZIPPERS The zippers are pretty good and perform well. ROOM There is plenty of room in these for small knitting projects which is what I got them for. I put in socks which have small circular needles so they fit along with the yarn right in the case. The very small case I can put smaller projects in or small items like markers, and needles for finishing etc. if I want to and stick that in the bigger case. THE BOTTOM LINE I got these for knitting projects like socks. They fit perfectly along with the smaller case for smaller finishing items. MY RATING FIVE STARS. I love that I can see my project through the sides so I can quickly find it and take it with me to work on it.

Overpriced but decent quality

This Scunci brand clear makeup bag set is pretty decent. It’s completely see through. The bigger one can hold a surprising amount of stuff. And the smaller one is pretty small. The zippers on both work great and don’t catch or feel too cheap. My only gripe about these is that there over priced for what you get. I mean nearly $15 bucks for these? That’s a bit much in my opinion...
