Look no further! Excellent Hot Comb for my thick coarse African American hair!

I took a chance on this one since there were NO reviews on the hot comb (only the blow dryer had reviews) since all the Conair products are combined. Anyways, to my African American sisters this one will definitely straighten your hair from the roots to the ends! Plus, only one pass is needed but I of course did a few since I like it bone straight! Coming off of relaxers and embracing the natural once again as I get older. I used the highest setting of 450 and it did not burn my hair. After searching through Amazon’s list of hot combs and ordering and returning quite a few, this one was the best! It is made of lightweight sturdy plastic which makes it easy to hold and use. I like the built in stand as opposed to the bracket stand that I always have to move constantly during use. The comb itself glides easily through my natural coarse hair. The combs are spaced apart just right. I initially thought they were too wide apart but it still worked fine in straightening my hair. My main reason for getting this one was the temperature display and black ceramic coating. I’m just hoping that the black coating will hold up well! So far so good! The price wasn’t to bad either, the $15-$20 ones are tempting but this $30 one had everything I was looking for except for the comb guard but I don’t think I would have used that anyways (can’t get the edges good with the guard). Plus, I follow up with a flat iron for curl! Just buy it!

While I usually love everything Conair, this blow dryer was giving me a hard time. It does dry your hair very well and the print is very cool. However the comb attachment would not attach and hold. I had to wrap duck tape around it to hold it together. I wrapped it about 10 times and it has been holding well. I’m sure I’ll have to replace the tape soon.

best blow dry brush i’ve used yet

my hair is super thick/curly/wavy so blow dry brushes have never worked for me but this one is amazing and so worth the price!

Love it!

Great for wavy hair! Mine is thin and doesn't want to curl-only have waves-but this gives it extra volume and defines waves as much as I've seen before! My personal experience is it works better for my hair if I use it longer (15 instead of 10 was my lucky combo).

Power, weight, Price and the beauty of the design out beat in every area!!

This dryer is amazing the power is on the same level as a dyson. Paying around $30 to $50 dollars is better then $300 to $400 with the same level of power and weight is the same!!

Where was this item stored??

Although the curling iron seems to work fine, the box was a bit dinged up and there were no user instructions included in the box, and I happen to know this item does come with instructions. Additionally, the box and everything in it smelled STRONGLY of moth balls or some such extremely unpleasant odor. It took a good week or so for the smell to dissipate to where I'd even try to use it, and it still retains a faint odor several weeks later. As such, it seems very questionable to me as to whether this is actually a "new" item, even though it was described as such. Personally would not buy from this seller again in the future.

Love the settings!

So far so good, I love that there are three heat settings (cool, warm, and hot) and two for power (low and high) so you can really control the heat and drying power. I bought this specifically to use with the wavy-to-curly diffuser in the same line, which worked wonderfully. It was my first time using a diffuser and I noticed a big difference!

Works Exclusively with The Curl Collective Hair Dryer

Dislike: Works Exclusively with The Curl Collective Hair Dryer. Cannot be used with your current dryer :( I think Conair did a huge disservice to themselves for not making it compatible with the millions upon millions of Conair Infiniti Pro hairdriers sold. Likes: Big bowl for collecting hair, hair dries fast, lightweight. It's pretty, but that is subjective.

Excelente difusor

No se porque este difusor y su respectiva secadora no son tan mencionados para el método curly, es un excelente herramienta para secar el cabello ondulado rápido y sin llegar a quemar el cabello.

IT'S HOT!!!!!!

I've been thinking of going natural so I ordered it yesterday & got it today! Couldn't wait to try it so I did (without reading the instructions)! I used the 1st setting (coily) but wanted it hotter. I went to the 2nd setting (curly) & boy was it hot! The way it's shaped it doesn't burn your scalp unless you but the comb directly on your scalp. It definitely takes care of flyaways too! After reading the instructions I realized that I don't need the 2nd setting but the 1st setting using the button to go hotter. I'm going to wash my hair tomorrow, let it dry naturally then use the Pressing Comb & see what happens. If this works like I think it does goodbye relaxers! I'll keep you updated!
