Great boots for usually a great price.

My kids love these boots. Their first pair they were so much they were through the soul to the point where there was holes, and their feet were getting wet. They also didn’t bother to tell me that the old pair were hurting their feet because their toes were at the end. So I thought purchasing the next size up would fix the problem. But now their feet actually grew an extra size past that. Returns were nice and easy. Unfortunately I needed boots right away and could not wait for a second pair to get shipped. The only available ones that would fit them locally were Sorell’s, and my wallet felt that pinch.

Inserts are tight

With the extra insert (for warmth) that it comes with, it fit my son which is in a size 10w. Without it, it fits my daughter which is a size 1. So big difference there. Wish the insert was a little more flexible so it could still fit my daughter's feet while they're attached

Waterproof, warm and all that you need!

Bought a ‘waterproof’ pair from a high end online store (LE) only to find out they weren’t too waterproof after sending my poor toddler out in the snow who came back with wet cold feet. Bought these that same day. I’ve bought these for my 4 older children and have learned my lesson: Columbia Forty are waterproof, warm, the only boots you’ll ever need for snow-loving kids and will last forever. You won’t be disappointed. I repeat: waterproof and WARM. super warm. Thanks Columbia.

Too small, too stiff, too bad because it looks warm

Looks very nice and would keep little feet warm and toasty..IF you can get your little one’s feet in it. Size 13 looks the same size as his old size 12 boots (which still fit him good, thankfully) when you look at it from the outside, but is way smaller when you factor in the inserts, without which it fits his feet. But there is no padding on the footbed without it, and it will not be as warm and cushy without inserts. Ankles are also narrow and stiff with no give so imagine walking with a splint on your ankles. Hard to put on because of it and my little boy who puts his boots by himself kicked it out of frustration. Also heavy. Order 2-3 sizes up, and buy at your own risk.

Warm and dry, good deal

My daughter loves these boots, she said they keep her feet as warm and dry as her old Kamik boots (but they were less expensive) She sometimes has an issue with boots feeling lumpy inside or the liners feel too bunchy, but hasn't complained about that with these boots. I did order a full size up so she would have sone room to grow into them.

WAY TOO SMALL WIDTH WISE

We were SO excited to buy these for our daughter and when we tried to put her foot in them they were SO freaking tight she actually started crying. So we exchanged for a size bigger and they are still extremely tight. Columbia did a VERY crappy job with these and it's sad because the rest of the boots are great

Very nice boots

Don't let the color description throw you off. I think that these are cheaper because they aren't selling simple because it says that they are orange, they are definitely red and look very nice.

Great winter boot... if you can get it on

Shoe is sturdy and warm but trying to stuff a toddlers foot in there is a real struggle, the shoe itself is sized fine but the getting the foot through the inlet involves coaxing, pushing, liberal use of butter and lots of praying. The shoes consists of a outer part and a foam-fabric insert which holds the foot, but which is too narrow for the foot size the shoe is made for.

Good quality but returned due to size

The product was great but the size was too small for my daughter. The return policy is simple with the vendor.

Good quality but run very small!

Quality is great, very waterproof and well insulated. But the sizing is extremely off. Our son is just outgrowing a size 10 shoe but needed a size 13 of these boots.
