Works amazing!!
Wowza! When I tell you this thing works! It WORKS! I was shocked when I started I using this on my dog, the change was instant. I seriously did not think this thing could work. He has never been properly trained by his previous owner, so anytime I took him out for walks he was constantly try to drag me along, running ahead and chocking himself constantly from pulling ahead. But since using this training cooler he is a completely different dog on walks now! Even with out the collar! I would definitely record this collar to people!!

Don’t hesitate to buy this!!!
I have a 9 month old pit/lab mix who has pulled on his leash from day one. I’ve tried slip leashes/collars, e-collars, treats, you name it - none of it worked. This prong collar is a LIFE saver!! I just got it in the mail today and immediately tested it during our daily walk. I corrected him maybe 4 times, MAX. I’ve never had such a peaceful walk with him until this purchase. I will say, not every dog is the same and may need professional training or maybe won’t need much training at all, but if you’re someone like me, unable to afford professional training and you’re on your own (watching YouTube training videos daily for help), do not hesitate to try this!!!

Too hard to put on/take off
Overall, this collar seems well made. I haven't put it to use so I can't speak for how well it actually functions. I just got it in the mail today and I realized I forgot to check the size. It is waay too big for my 30 lb dog! When using a prong collar, the smaller the prongs the better, and the one I got is meant for big dogs. This was my mistake, not the seller's. Regardless of sizing, it is too difficult to put on. The prongs are really hard to hook/unhook, and with a wiggly dog that doesn't like having the collar put on, snapping the pieces together needs to be quick and easy. If I can only get my dog to hold still for ten seconds, I can't take two minutes trying to put the links together! There are prong collars that have buckles or clips, and I plan to try them out. TL;DR: It's too hard to put on and take off, but otherwise if you get the right size it seems like a sturdy, well-made collar.

OMG - Worked Immediately!!
I'm training my daughter's year old dog and she had a terrible problem with pulling while walking and not heeding instructions. I tried click training and lots of practice and nothing was working. I bought this as a last resort and am amazed! Immediately upon putting the collar on she walked perfectly on the leash. It doesn't appear to cause here discomfort when she's doing what she needs to be doing but also doesn't cause harsh punishment if she's not. She now walks like a show dog and is such a pleasure to take a stroll with. Thanks!! I would recommend this product.

Defective
I used pronged collar in the past with my other dogs and I found them very effective in having control over your dog. I gave my old prong collar to a neighbor who has been having problems with her brown lab and she loved it. So I needed to get another prong collar for our new dog. I went through three vendors. This last one worked for a couple of weeks then the prong started falling apart. I was totally disappointed and I don’t recommend this at all.

Great Product, not for me
This is a well-made collar. I can't speak to the durability of it, but it appears long lasting. It is definitely comparable to another H-S brand, without the middle plate. This was unfortunately way too large for my dog, even with all but 4 links taken out. This is more my mistake than anything else. The ends of the prongs are well rounded. It is difficult to separate the links to take it on and off, but that is the nature of the collar especially with a heavier weight prong. Overall great buy, would have happily kept and used if it was the right size.

Worth it.
I finally found a product that every family member can use with our Great Pyrenees that he is not suddenly running and dragging us and making us fall. Years ago I had a bull mastiff I bought one for and it worked. Well this is a dream, no crying or whimpering. Its NOT sharp. It makes them uncomfortable and they stop pulling. I highly recommend. Please remember to remove when you come inside.

Excellent price for a great collar.
I reveived mine this morning and must say ir is an Excellent prong collar and an amazing price. Exactly as deacribed. Works perfectly for my 65lb APBT With a larger neck size. Much lighter than the bulky generic large prong collar bought at Petco for double if not triple the price of this one. We had a 3.2mm one for our 80 lb APBT/American bulldog. And he was more responsive so we bought this one for our other dog. Only docked 1 star because ot would be nice to have the option to incled 2- additional prongs since this one is slightly narrower than our other 3.2mm collar but it is perfectly fine otherwise!

Good Collar; Solid Build
Works amazing for getting my dog whipped into discipline; my dog is very young and curious and loved to pull to the point where my arms would be so sore from our walks and I couldn’t help but get so mad at him for pulling. I was worried about this being harmful to my dog but after the first day he knew not to resist the collar by pulling and the pulling problem improved. After a couple of months I noticed he would pull a bit on the leash regardless of the collar choking him but definitely not comparable to non-choke collar pulling. I just think he knows he can pull to a degree at this point lol. I’d recommend this for training purposes. I’ve had it for a good two months now and no problems at all.

Great training tool; not a torture device
Great training tool for a dog who is struggling with pulling during walks. The prongs are NOT sharp at all (that's a good thing), and the build quality is great. This collar has definitely saved my dogs life a number of times. We live in an area with high rabbit/hare population, and our Am Staff will gladly run into traffic if she sees a hare on the other side of the road. With her strength, my wife wouldn't be able to normally hold her back from running into traffic. But with this collar, our dog has been learning quickly not to pull that hard, as it will start to tighten, and it allows my wife to hold her back.

Don't buy unless you know how to use it properly
Some of the reviews about the collars breaking are funny, this is actually very well made but if you don't have experience with a prong collar or know how to use it or put on your dog then it's going to "break and fall off" suggestion to anyone purchasing this, please get some training on how to use these properly and effectively and get shown how to actually put on your dog before using. These are very good traing tools and that's just what they are for ...training. I have zero complaints so far with this brand and it's not the first prong collar I've used either

Worked for our anxious dog
This worked like a charm and walking our anxious dog on a crowded trail and then in a crowded farmer's market was very fun and this was the best she's been on her leash that we've seen thus far We have tried everything to get our dog to walk without pulling but it is tough because she is so anxious she isn't food motivated outside. After being recommended a prong collar by someone in our building we went to the pet store to ask about it and they scoffed at us as if we were monsters for even thinking about using such a thing which turned us off of it we put it on the backburner. Well since it was only 16 bucks we ended up trying it anyway and my god what a difference. She actually seemed happier than normal to be outside and we couldn't believe that the pet shop was so against it. In our opinion our dog pulling on her leash seemed to be MUCH more uncomfortable than this collar

Buena calidad, si batalló un poco porque aveces con el movimiento se le cae el collar, se le suelta, es por el diseño de los eslabones tuve que apretar el último un poco con unas pinzas por que sino siempre se soltaba con cualquier momento que estuviera sin jalar mi perro. En lo demás está bien en calidad y el envío perfecto como siempre con Amazon
