Great collar for dogs with slim heads!

I bought this for my small chihuahua because she slips out of every other type of collar or harness. She has a slim head like a greyhound not a "apple" shaped head. She is in between sizes for the harness sizes & they are all either too small or a little too big which means she can slip out of the harness. She slipped out of her harness the last time in the vet parking lot which is right off a major busy highway. This collar is perfect. It is a small width suitable for her small neck. It is fairly soft so it is comfortable for her to wear. She cannot slip out of this collar at all. When it starts to tighten up, she will immediately stop pulling. I was so happy to find this type of collar on Amazon. I was unable to find one at all locally in the stores. All of the collars were either all chain or with the section that tightens made with chain. They were also not small enough. I had bought one like this collar years ago for my other chihuahua (it also was the only collar that worked for my other dog) at a local pet store, but they no longer sold these collars. I also like the bright pink color.

Nice Collar

Bought this collar for my 19lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. It fits great on her and has really helped her to stop pulling on walks.

Provides peace of mind, perfect for furry little necks

My shaggy little Griffon Bruxellois has quite a lot of neck fur, making a traditional collar difficult to fit – it feels tight enough but he is still able to slip out. If I adjust it tighter it is difficult to get on. The Martingale is super simple, it's quite comfy on as it doesn't have to fit so tight and he can't slip it when we are out for walks, making our outings much safer and giving me peace of mind that I can't lose him should a stressful situation arise. My only disappointment is that Red Dingo doesn't carry the Martingales in New Zealand and I wasn't able to match his collar to his Red Dingo lead (which I bought with a standard Red Dingo collar I had to initially settle for – money now wasted). So far the collar wears well, he enjoys it and we are very please with the quality. Would recommend and would buy again.

Color not as pictured

This is a great collar but the turquoise was an aqua blue. Not at all ask pictured, but great in terms of function

Perfect for Winnie

Use to use chain training collar. Rescue group told me about a Martingale collar, I'll never go back to chain again. Easy on and off. Much more comfortable for Winnie and she cannot get out of it. She is safe on our walks.

The sizing is off

These were supposed to be a small- medium size but are more like an extra small-small size. I bought 2 of these but am only able to use 1 on my puppy. They will not fit a small- medium sized dog. The collar barely fits my French bulldog/Jack Russell mix puppy.

Good, but has a few issues

The collar itself is pretty decent quality, just a little thin and weak in my opinion. I had to constantly readjust it when putting it on and taking it off of my dog, which is a bit of a pain but I can live with that. The real issue came in that, if my dog pulled, the slider would move and loosen, making the collar get larger and larger until he could slip out. The other problem was that the fabric loop seemed to get stuck once he started pulling, not loosening again once he returned to heel.

Just what we needed

My dog pulls really hard when on a harness so, after doing some research, I decided to try a martingale collar to see if it would make an improvement. I know Red Dingo is a good brand and wasn’t disappointed. Available in a great selection of colours...... and now I enjoy our walks instead of dreading my arm being pulled out of its socket!

Fantastic collars

Love red dingo collars best you can buy in my opinion, have dalmatians so like a great quality strong collar that dosent leave dye staining on white coats. Beautiful colours and great to wash in machine, all 4 of mine wear them would recommend.

Dog Escape proof collar

I like the colour options and the Quality of the product Quality of the product but it is a bit thin , still dose it’s job and is durable , decent for the good price
