Didn’t work for our large dog…wish I could find a replacement for the larger one I bought years ago.

Great chain, the length in description is misleading

Bought both the 3mm x 22" and 3mm x 20" chains. I have a Pit Bull who weighs about 65 lbs and the first chain I bought (3mm x 22") ended up being 23.25" long including the loops and 21" without the loops. That chain was slightly too large for my dog and fell off over her ears on a couple of occasions, so I bought the smaller size next (3mm x 20"). As seen in the pictures, that chain measures exactly 22" with the loops or 19.75" without the loops. Thankfully, Amazon processed the return of the first chain to my card directly without requiring me to mail it back.

I WAS SOOOOO UPSET WHEN I OPENED THE PACKAGE AND SAW WHAT IT REALLY WAS! I DID NOT KNOW THIS WASNT A REG CHAIN COLLAR! I WOULD NEVER EVER USE THIS ON MY DOG WOULD BREAK ITS LARYNEX! I HATE (EXCEPT THE ONE THE DOG WHISPERER USES FOR "TRAINING" THE COLLARS THAT.. AS THEY PULL IT.. CHOKES THEM! THE ONE CESAR USES IS A VERY THIN CLOTH/NYLON ONE AND ONLY USES TO TRAIN. WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS ON THE PAGE YOU WOULD NEVER EVER THINK IT WAS A TRAINING COLLAR??(THERES NOOO DESCRIP OF IT BEING ONE EITHER!!! ITS SOOO PRETTY VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL PINK AND SHINEY! AND QUITE LARGE. I HAVE A 30 LB BEAGLE AND WOULD ALMOST GO AROUND HER NECK TWICE! (NOT REALLY) BUT ITS BIG! VERY HEAVY MADE. I WAS GOING TO RETURN BECAUSE I WILL NEVER EVER USE IT. I BELIEVE IN "ONLY" HARNESSES SO NOT PULLING YANKING ON THE POOR DOGGIES THROAT AND LARYNEX. BUT ...ITS SO DANG PRETTY IM KEEPING... WHAT IM GOING TO DO WITH IT I DONT KNOW. BUT IF YOU DONT MIND CHOKING YOUR DOGS THROAT YOU WOULD LIKE THIS!

Girly chain

I have a very large, strong female Boxer. This collar works well on walks and when training her. It also lets people know she is a female.

I would have made many dogs more comfortable.

If you use a chain collar, then this is the one you want. The cord which is threaded in the chain links prevents hair loss. I have a short haired dog and a chain collar without this cord pulls her hair out. I bought a pink one for my girl. When I get my boy this year or next, I will get him a black one. This is my first corded chain collar and I wish I knew years ago that these were corded for function and not just decoration. I would have made many dogs more comfortable.

My girl loves her new necklace!

I got this for my service dog in training who is part Shar Pei because her neck folds were getting awfully fluffy - her martingale collar seemed to be rubbing on her uncomfortably. She loves this collar/necklace and I look how easy it is to take on and off for when we're at home or its bath-time. Plus, as a black dog, she looks super adorable in it!
