Great fit

Bought it for my sofa cushion, I had broke the original zipper which was standard type. I can’t say much of the longevity because it hasn’t been that long for me to say. But it seems sturdy and matches my cushions. A lot cheaper than what I found else where. I love Amazon ????

Top Quality!!!

These are heavy duty, brass zippers. Old-time quality! I bought them to use with upholstery fabric for sofa cushions and they are up to the job. I would use these for denim or other heavy weight fabrics. They also have a generous about of fabric width on either side of the zipper teeth to make it easy to sew. Room to run two rows of stitching down each side for extra strength.

Simple old fashioned metal zipper

If you need a zipper for a long cushion, this is the one for you. I prefer the metal zippers as they function longer than the nylon ones do. Highly recommend this zipper.

The zipper is metal brass type. Installed it on the backpack which had broken zipper. The zipper has lots of resistance to move and is not very smooth. I tried wax from the candle to smooth it out, but it did not help much, After repeated application of oil and hundreds of up and down motion to zipper is now reasonably smooth. As far as the strength of the zipper, we shall see. The quality of the zipper seems to be commensurate with the low price. Apparently, the sharp edges from machining the zipper was not rounded and eased. Initially you will get a rough jerky motions when moving the zipper up and down.
