Excellent Light, great warranty

Coast's products are great quality and they honor their warranty. I have many of their lights and never had problems until one recently. I reached out for warranty replacement and they sent me a brand new in the box replacement. I originally had the 1000 Lumen light, they sent me an updated one that's 1200 Lumens. No questions asked, didn't even want the old one back. In the unlikely event you ever need the light replaced, Coast stands by their warranty 100% I was already impressed with their lights, but I'll now be a life long customer.

Phenomenal flashlight for the price!

I have used a fair amount of flash lights in my work and they all have pros and cons. This one all pros. The price is fair, the lumen level is great for all uses. It’s bright enough to light up an entire ally or backyard. The battery life is good for a few days of heavy use and over a month of irregular use. The fact that it’s rechargeable and also excepts standard batteries is a huge benefit. I highly recommend for duty use and home!

Bring Sunglasses

Coast makes very good products. This one is bright enough. Rechargeable battery can come in handy (as long as you can access electricity &have the proprietary charging cable!) It would be nice if Coast would offer a two battery version. Instead you have to purchase second battery separately. This flashlight requires SPECIAL batteries if you chose not to use the single rechargeable one they include.

Good

Got this flashlight for my dad and he loved it. It’s a nice flashlight you can recharge the battery and it’s bright. He charged it when he opened it up and he hasn’t charged it since and it’s been about a month since he got it. Should be a long lasting flashlight hopefully.

It’s okay

This thing is okay. I do attic inspections and need a flashlight that can function in dark spaces. This is okay for bringing the dog out but it doesn’t help at all in dark places. The bullseye is bright but the rest seems under 500 lumes. I’d recommend going to the 2100 or 3650. You can get a similar flashlight at the dollar store. I just don’t see the value in this specific one. I used a coast 2100 linens flashlight same style and liked it. I thought I was ordering the same one again.

Not the best: charging arrangement is mediocre

The good: small, well made, extremely bright light. The bad: you have to remove the battery to charge it, unlike some other Coast products that also advertise USB-C charging. AND, once it is removed, it is picky about which chargers it will charge from - it will NOT take a charge from an Anker "IQ" USB power brick that is capable of fast or ordinary charging. It will only charge from older style, low power supplies like those that came with pre-2020 phones. This is a pretty big downside if you're looking to consolidate with USB-C charging of devices.

Excellent

I go through a lot of these types of flashlights and I have found Coast to make the best product for a reasonable price. This one in particular is very bright and sturdy. I use it to pre and post flight my jet and it is perfect for that use.

Good product but looks like a used unit.

Already Scratched right out of the box. Functionality is good but disappointed. Don’t have the time to return and get a replacement.
