Best work light hands down
Professional light with great dispersed lighting. Rechargeable and strong magnet used for auto or misc work. Lights up well and light works for several hours. Great purchase and worth the extra price.

Works well , but
I wish it was a folding model as it seems like the light is so intense it can be blinding

Light has become a paper weight
I bought this light after seeing it on the South main auto channel and PFI Speed and figured if it worked for Eric it would definitely last for me. This light started out in life as awesome!! Unfortunately it didn't last long. This light was excellent for about the first week or so and then the light started flickering and then the battery life dropped off to about 10 minutes max then it has to go on the charger. Expensive light to only get a week or 2 out of it. it's to bad because it was expensive and was highly talked about. I'm really hoping that I just got a Monday or Friday built light. I'm going to give it another shot and pray it works out well. I love the size of the light and the magnet is excellent absolutely love the adjustable amount of light it puts out. This light is perfect as long as the flickering and the shortened battery life was just a lemon. Hopefully they all don't end up with the same issues. I have other astro tools products and have been extremely happy with them. I really want to get the nano angle impact, slide hammer, the inner slide bearing slide hammer and there torque limiting extensions. I'll definitely be buying lots of tools from y'all as long as they're not junk. Anyways I wouldn't hesitate at buying there tools even if I did get a lemon. Now as i said they get 1 more chance and if the next one fails in 2 weeks the review probably won't be as nice.

Good light, but wished it would last a little longer
Great light. I was looking for something that would last a little bit longer than 2.0 hours, and this barely does it. It will maybe last 2.5 hours, at most. If I wanted longer light, I'd have to step up to the 85S, which is supposed to last to almost 4.0 hours, according to the Torque Test Channel on UTube. I've been using a Gearwrench Wing light, but those last about the same. I like the wand style for more flexibility for automotive use. I did have a bunch of cheapie Made-in-China knock offs that barely lasted 2.0 hours, but this Astro unit blows their brightness out of the water. Also, the Astro unit is a lot more durable and has more mass then all those cheapie wand lights. If this light could last another hour or two, then it would be the perfect light for me.

Not my favorite work like but close.
Only reason this light isnt my top pick at work is only do to how long it is for some applications. Yes its nice when trying to see way down into the engine bay in tight spots. Very durable. Been dropped test frequently with zero issues.(5'). Bright enough for most but i tend to use it turned all the way up all the time. Battery life is better then expected. On high i got around 8 hours of continues use as in i didnt shut it off at work to see how long it would actually last.

Not Snap on, But better than HF
I'm a heavy equipment mechanic, I work in the field repairing machinery traveling from job site to job site in a truck. I have been pretty loyal to snap on lights, but the price gouging finally got to me and I wanted to try something new. I bought this light. First though, adjustable dial is nice. It puts out a pretty great amount of light. I don't really use the flashlight feature much, but it's nice to have so when I'm doing inspections on machines I can point out something to a customer vs. carrying a separate flash light. The battery life isn't near what my Snap on/Cornwell lights are, but it's better than the Braun I also use at home in the garage. It also is a lot more solid feeling than the Braun (the magnet has came off, as well as the plastic piece that keeps the light protected has fell off a few times over the 6 months I've had it.) This is worth the money, and absolutely a great piece for a weekend garage type gig. Full time guys might want to get 2 or 3 if you work long hours and would like a light at all times though.

Awesome + Plus an update
This is incredible high quality and super powerful light. I like the smaller head light on it, as it is quite useful for small spotting. No one will regret this purchase. This is the real deal work light of all time. If you want a quality light, this is the one to buy. December 2020 update: After using this for a few months, it has it's drawbacks. The pivot being at the bottom make this light somewhat unusable. It's almost impossible to position it properly under a vehicle. The dial, when you throw it in a toolbag, can get bumped and turn on accidentally and drain it out. There is a better version of this flashlight from Astro that has come out: it folds and has a two way beam. I've used and purchased a similar Braun type, and this would be far superior to this flashlight to work in and and inside something like a car fender. I've used the other style, from a different brand countless many times over this one now, and this is no longer a go to flashlight. Pros: The rubber grip is excellent. The light is bright. The battery has long life. To this end, but the folding version of this and I think you have a superior overall flashlight for the money and it should be perfect for using anywhere. I'm waiting for the price of the other folding type from Astro to drop, and buy one.

Big Brother
I love the 420 version of this light so I bought the 650 version. Don't be fooled by the cheap imitations of this light out there! Get the true version from Astro. I am a truck and transport tech and use these every day. Trust me you will not be disappointed! The new features on the 650 are much welcomed. A great light and well worth the price.

Questionable durability
The rotary switch on the back is a weakpoint, mine has failed and now does not have an 'off' or 'on' stop and freely rotates. If you carry this in your tool bag it will constantly be dead due to being jostled and running out the battery. The bottom magnet is held on by a small screw that appears to have had a thread locker used, when I attempted to remove the bottom magnet base to clean it off the screw snapped and now it no longer will attach. I reached out to customer support months ago and have yet to hear back. Maybe good for living in a tool drawer but I don't think this is as rugged and tough as it's made out to be.
