A perfect application for general purpose flashlight

Stands on end or sides without rolling away, magnetic, has a hook, batteries last, very bright, durable. I've bought five so far. Car, garage, house, BR, it's perfect.

Good flashlight

This LED flashlight is a great option for those who need a durable and water-resistant flashlight. Its form factor is comfortable to hold, and the flashlight is easy to carry around. The beam is bright and consistent, which is helpful in various situations. However, the battery life could be better. Overall, I recommend this flashlight to anyone who requires a durable and water-resistant flashlight, but keep in mind that the battery life may not be sufficient for longer usage periods.

STILL PERFECT - Minor Adjustments Recommended

The media could not be loaded. The only thing this Flashlight is missing is a magnet directly on the bottom of the light. The magnets could be stronger also, but they will absolutely hold the weight of this lightweight flashlight. Just don’t bump into the light when you have it magnetically connected to something. It will not hold that force. This light does have two magnets on the opposite long side of the LEDs. They will hold the light upside down under a car hood or utility or electrical rack. There is also a plastic hook that can extend out from the top of the light for hanging as well. Just be careful not to pull on that tab too hard. The waterproof feature is nice, and is standard across all the flashlights we use. Typically I will use this for job area lighting; but will also use a headlamp, or floor lamp, depending on what is going on. I have tried the whole rechargeable battery route with my lights also. Rechargeable batteries in devices work better when you are able to remove, and replace, the batteries. It is nice that this flashlight takes regular batteries, that can also be switched out for the Energizer rechargeable ones if you are burning through batteries. Would I have wanted Energizer to make this thing out of metal? No. That would have made this thing way too heavy. However parts like the clip on the top, and the rod that the clip is connected to, could be stronger feeling…. BUT this thing has fallen on the ground so many times already, from about 3-4 feet at job sites. I am not worried about the overall flashlight breaking. Still not sure if you should get this? You should, we bought four.

So far, this is a great work light, but it really wants to be vertical.

So far, this is a great work light, but it really wants to be vertical. Pros: though I haven't tested this, the solid-feeling build quality indicates it'll really be resistant to water & drop damage. Stands up on its base easily. Magnets on the back are strong enough to hold it (vertically) on my old steel kitchen wall cabinets. Clever hideaway rotating hook at top end, so you can have hands-free light almost anywhere. (Hangs nicely on a closet rod.) But also feels good & substantial in the hand, with a nice "high-low-off" switch sequence. "High" is very bright, and even "low" is plenty in most cases. Uses nice, common, replaceable AA batteries. Cons: this light really wants to be vertical: if you try to stick it on a ferrous side-surface horizontally, the magnets won't hold in that position, and it will fall off. It stands up on its base easily, but I wish that base were also magnetic. (I guess this light doesn't want to lie down on the job.)

Big 4 AA battery work light

Bigger than I really expected but does not end up being a bad thing. It is bright compared to the energizer 2 AA swivel head work light. One nice thing is that this throws a whiter light so it seems brighter. That makes it easier when actually doing work with it. Down side of course is long exposure can strain your eyes and affect your mood but for actual work the white is preferred. Hook at the top seems to be okay. Feels a little flimsy but holds up under household use at the moment. Three magnets on the back are strong enough to hold the full flashlight against a magnetized surface. Only down side is the UI. You’d expect the second click to be the lowest setting it will go light their other work light but it is not. It is a little under half the brightness to my eye. If you are trying to save battery you will have to hold the button on the second click for about 4 seconds before it hits the dimmest setting and then go back up to the middle brightness before it turns off. Kind of bad at extending the battery life with that UI set up. This about the only con in my use so far. Oh and the actual switch is a bit high underneath the button cover. If you are trying to hit the middle of the button you will more than likely partly miss the actual button underneath. Just remember to hold it a little high when using the button.

Broke within a few days use - light is unreliable.

Within the first few days of using this light on site the hook broke off - it cannot be repaired as it’s cheap plastic and snapped in half. The light also cannot take a lot of use. I was in and out of an attic and had to change the batteries (which were not dead) consistently because when you turn it off and back on, sometimes it doesn’t want to turn back on. It would also randomly turn off or dim in power (with a new set of batteries). If you are looking for something to have as a backup, this would be a great option. If you are looking for something to use on a job site/daily, I would invest a little more money into a quality light from DeWalt or Milwaukee (or a trusted brand like that).

Excellent

This is a big light - especially compared to the others in the same ad. It floods a work area very well. Perfect for working in a car bonnet area and was very handy on a camping trip to use on a camp table. Just a low and high setting. The magnet is not the strongest I've seen but still more than adequate.

The media could not be loaded. A lanterna possui uma iluminação muito boa, isso é fato. Ela é bem construída, resistente e possui uma boa pegada. Poderia vir a cordinha de segurança e um imã forte na parte de baixo, como geralmente vem nas lanternas desse seguimento. Os dois ímãs traseiros também poderiam ter uma qualidade melhor, não passam confiança. Editado... Não recomendo mais essa lanterna. Leiam os comentários em inglês. Procurem pelos que dão notas baixas... Esta lanterna apresenta um defeito que parece não ter conserto. Ao ligar a lanterna por um tempo, se desligar e ligar logo em seguida, ela não liga. Está acontecendo isso comigo. Você fica apertando o botão pra ligar e não vai, você passa raiva mesmo. Parece algum defeito no botão. Teve outra pessoa que disse que era pilha fraca, mas nao é. Comprei pilhas novas, aconteceu a mesma coisa. Eu tinha pedido a troca, já enviei a lanterna pra eles, mas vou pedir meu dinheiro de volta. É uma pena, porque ela tem uma iluminação excelente.

Bright with Good Range

We use this model at work for when (unfortunately it's when, not if) the power to the building goes out. We have a few different kinds of lights around for this purpose, but this model is the favourite. It's easy to hold, bright, and illuminates a lot of the area around you. The magnets on the back also mean we can just stick them to filing cabinets to save space. Our office Health and Safety committee now requests this model to replace the old flashlights when they go.

Nice light but it needs a magnet on the base as well as the back so it can stand in an upright , upside down or sideways position
