Great oil at a good price
This is the same oil my nail technician uses and recommended to me. I had anticipated to pay a lot for it, but found that I could get a very large jar for only about 30 bucks or so. I like the size and shape of the big jar, as well as that it comes with both a brush and a dropper, so you can use either one. Oil smells good, and most important of all, does great at moisturizing my cuticles and the area around my nails.

Great Product
I bought this product with the Super Shiney Top Coat and the Sticky Base Coat to help my manicures last longer, look better, and leave my nails healthier afterwards. I purchased the set right after Thanksgiving and used it extensively to do various manicures and polish changes during the holidays, and not only did the manicures hold up better than a typical natural nail manicure, my nails looked great even after taking the polish off completely and just showing my natural nails. I agree with other users that if I have this on and do the manicure, it doesn't get the full benefits of the Sticky Base Coat and last as long as it does otherwise. When I am doing a manicure, I do it with clean, dry nails and let it set for a day or so. Then I carefully rub just a tiny bit of solar oil in the edges of my nail bed every day after that. When I am letting my nails recover and go without a manicure, I use the enclosed brush and paint it on my nails, then rub it into my whole nail bed and cuticles, usually right before bed so I wont be washing my hands for awhile. It has made a big difference in the look and health of my natural nails in just a short amount of time. I am a children's librarian and so I wash my hands a lot between handling books and materials, touching kids and things they have touched (germ city, especially in the winter with everyone sick). I have found some great hand creams but still got a lot of trouble with nail growth and hang nails. I used to be frequently plagued by soreness from hangnails and dry cracking along the cuticles no matter how much hand cream I used - especially in the winter. Now, my nails are less brittle and grow better, and my hangnails and cracked cuticles have healed up with just under two months use of this oil. I am very pleased with the results and will continue to use this product and recommend it to others.

Restores nails!
I favorably reviewed this when I first bought the small bottle. When that ran out I bought the big one and am refilling the smaller bottle with the convenient eyedropper that came with the big one. I'm 74 and my dry skin and nails have gotten even drier. My nails were a mess, breaking and splitting, and my cuticles were rough and jagged. Nothing, not lotion, not 'nourishing' nail polish, helped. NO MORE! This stuff is amazing. My nails are back to being as healthy as they were in my youth. I apply it to nails and cuticles at night before bed, let it sit on my nails for a bit, then massage it in. I wish my hands looked as good! : )

Finally - a worthwhile nail product
I have always had bad nails and they have gone worse lately. Probably age and living in the dry southwest desert. The woman who does my nails told me the history of this product and said that it's good - gave me a tiny bottle to try - said to use it every day over the cuticles. She said that she can tell who uses it and who doesn't. Well, I was sloppy about using it so there was no big change. But when I did start using it every day, I could see that the new growth was pinker and smoother than the old. So every two weeks when I had my nails done, the healthier nail part was bigger and the unhealthy part was smaller. So I'm a convert and bought this rather humungous bottle which will last a long time. Also, this has a wonderful fresh almond fragrance. I have tried many other products over the years; only one worked (some kind of product used on horses' hoofs, (can't remember the name) but I don't think it's made anymore - at least not the item that I was using - as I couldn't find it in the stores. All the rest were a waste of money and time. In fact, one product advertised on HLN was so useless that I sent it back and got a refund. So I was definitely skeptical but I was wrong; it's a good product but you have to use it at least once a day.

Best Cuticle Oil Ever!
This is absolutely the best cuticle oil I have ever used. And it smells wonderful! Makes my cuticles soft, and my nails have even grown longer and I believe even stronger from using it regularly. I use it at least twice a day. Love it! I bought the large size...rather pricey, but I loved that it came with a brush and a dropper. The smaller size does not give you both. Just be careful to cap it tightly between uses. I accidentally knocked it off my table and spilled half of it...sure made my wood floor shine where I wiped it up! My fault, but just wanted to warn you if you don't want to waste half of the money you spent on this wonderful product!

Nail oil
Thanks to an underactive thyroid I have brittle nails. I've been using this oil everyday on my nails and around my cuticles and my nails are stronger and healthier. It smells of almonds (which makes me want to eat cherry bakewells) which is a sweet oil so pleasant. Would recommend

CND Solar Oil - Just Brilliant
I love this stuff. I was introduced to it years ago by a nail technician and have used it ever since. I also use it for dry patches on my face and feet. My old nail technician used to refill my bottle for me but now I've been buying it myself. I found this larger pot and it is so much more value for money and comes with a pipette to refill my own bottle. The seller posted straight away and it arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Thank you! I can't recommend this highly enough. ;0)

Really effective cuticle oil
Love this solar oil. I've been using this for years and find it to be really good for my brittle nails. This is an expensive oil but I think it's worth it. And this is a bigger pot, so slightly more cost-effective. The pipette provided means I can decant some in to my old mini solar oil bottles, so I can travel etc. I love the almond smell. Absorbs well in to nail cuticles and can be used over your manicure, no problem.

Doubt this is genuine!
I do not believe this is the genuine article. I have used Solar oil for 20 plus years. The scent is very synthetic and not a patch on the genuine bottle I have just finished. The texture is very watery also. Pay extra elsewhere and get the real deal. I will be returning this. Very unhappy!
