Was hard to get out
I love my white chalk pen but panicked when I used the pink and could not get the markings out of my project. Someone had posted to use Shout to get it out and that finally worked for me. I will be very careful with what I use the pink marker on going forward.

Buy these and USE them to mark your fabric!
I always found tailors' chalk frustrating to use because the marks end up too thick, they smudge, it is not easy to place them accurately-leftover bits of soap seem easier to work with. These chalk rollers are so much better! They make a very fine line and accuracy is easy to achieve.

So easy to use!
I have used chalk pencils for some time, and as they got older I needed to dampen the end to get them to work. Not so with this! It took me a little bit to get used to using it when going around a corner or making a circle, but I do love it - no overly wide lines, no having to dampen the end of the chalk pencil, just go! And it comes off easily after sewing over it.

The pink liner may stain your fabric . . .
I have used the Clover Chaco liner in more than one color and one various types of fabric without difficulty . . . up until now. I grapped the pink liner to place a tiny line to mark buttonhole starting locations on some white batiste fabric . . . and now the pink color is stubbornly refusing to come out. I have used it successfully on quilting cotton, felt, and even satin before without having any problems simply brushing it off, but I now appear to have some permanent pink marks on an heirloom dress I was making, and I'm not a happy camper. I strongly suggest that you check your fabric each time before marking it with this marker to make certain that it will, in fact, be easily removable; otherwise, you may have an unpleasant surprise. My next step is to try some stain removers, but it shouldn't be necessary to be forced to do that with anything that's intended to provide a temporary mark on fabric. Use with caution. UPDATE: Clover recommends a solution of 5 parts water to 2 parts vinegar to remove stains caused by their markers, but it didn't work on the batiste. However, Shout laundry stain remover DID work. So if you should find yourself in a similar situation with this marker, keep the Shout handy.

A helpful aid
It is better than vanishing ink. I am pleased with how versatile it is on many different fabrics

White is great, but the pink does not brush off
I do like these pens and I think they work quite well as marking instruments. Sometimes the wheel gets a little stuck but I roll it a bit on my hand and it works again. The white color brushes off very easily, and is my favorite marking tool. The pink, however, doesn't really brush off and doesn't even want to wash out. I made the mistake of using the pink on some quilting cotton to mark a line for top stitching. The pink was driven into the white thread, and when I tried to hand wash it, maybe 70% came out. It didn't, luckily, bleed. So use the pink (and perhaps other colors like blue and yellow?) carefully, and ONLY on the wrong side and not to mark a stitching line - only cutting lines.

Doesn’t mark well.
The product just isn’t very good. The seller was so kind to send me a new one after the first one arrived damaged but the product just doesn’t write. It has a little spur as a head and the chalk comes out only faintly so it’s pretty useless in my view.

Worked great
Loved how this marker worked

great for sewing and quilting
My very experienced quilting teacher recommended these chalk liners. The good thing about them is that you get a very fine line of chalk because of the little metal wheel that delivers the chalk. Also, you can get refills. It's much better than a chalk pencil as you don't have to sharpen it.

Perfect!
After trying various chalk pens and proper chalk and not being really happy with them, I ordered this one. It's pricey in comparison but absolutely worth the money!
