Better than Micron!

When using a Micron, I have to hold it upright so the ink contacts the paper. With this pen, I can hold it at a comfortable angle and it writes beautifully! It’s so smooth! Love these pens. New fav.

Almost as good

These are not as good (smooth, easy) as the Pigma Micron pens, but almost. Therefore, they are a great choice for a class of kids, who tend to push too hard.

Great Pens, Familiar Ergonomics

I received my package of 12 pens within a few days. These pens are the least expensive of their kind on Amazon, and their performance is excellent for writing and illustrations. I have a firm grip and tend to apply pressure while using pens, so I need ones that are resistant to wear while maintaining a fine line for my smaller than average handwriting yet offering enough resistance to maintained a defined edge. Compared to the unipin fine line 0.1, which had been my go-to fine liner for nearly a decade, I would say the line is about 0.05mm thicker and resistance 50% lower (meaning the flow of the pen on paper is quite smooth), which is not the end of the world for me, but it is something to consider if you are buying these for a specific illustration use. I have yet to test for longevity, but the flow of ink out of the box suggests these pens will last longer than the unipins, the nubs of which would wear out on me after about 15-20 pages of writing. I think the lower resistance will ultimately encourage me to apply less pressure when writing. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and expect to have enough pens for a year.

As good as Microns!

I purchased these to try instead of Sakura Microns, my usual go-to. They work just as well, are easy to work with, and water resistant (in addition to being a tad less expensive).

Good pens, don't post

Only complaint is VERY minor: the cap doesn't post onto the back very well. It's fine clicking in place over the tip but a bit scared of losing the cap when writing. Nice pens tho!

Not the same size as Micron 005

I've been on a quest to find pens thin enough to add furigana to manga. I got this thinking it would be a dupe for Pigma Micron 005, but it absolutely is not. When making long strokes or writing large letters, there isn't much difference. But when writing very small, the Pentel seems to "bleed" more and creates bolder lines. I might still keep these for art purposes, but I'll be using the Micron 003 for furigana.

Pens dry up in a handful of pages.

these pens are bad, I'm trying to fill up a small sketchbook with anatomy study and the pens dry up every 2-3 days. I've gone through 2-3 pens in about 20 sketchbook pages. I don't know if I'm supposed to ask for another set with non dried out pens but I won't be buying these again of my own volition. If I can only do 2-4 tiny pages per pen that's really sad and a huge waste of money.

9 penne ricevute su 12 ordinate.

Penne di qualità senza dubbio, tratto preciso e nero profondo. Venditore pessimo. . Pacco da 12 ordinato, ma ne ricevo soltanto una, ho effettuato il reso perché mancavano le altre 11. Alla ricezione del secondo pacco mi ritrovo solo 9 penne. Un disastro di venditore.. mi son tenuto le 9 penne ed ecco qui la recensione negativa.

Parte delle penne mancanti

Anche in questo caso il disappunto non riguarda il prodotto ma la spedizione. Mancano due penne su 12, pacco esterno integro ma all’interno mancano le penne..... mah !

Non sono molto soddisfatta, alcune punte sono molto dentro e quindi si fa fatica ad utilizzarli, un paio sembrano già abbastanza scarichi perché dopo poco non scrivono più
