So Far So Good

I purchased it so I could have somewhere decent to put my tangerines, instead of leaving them on my counter. This bowl is big - here’s a photo of it next to my 15-inch MacBook for reference. A few cons: - The cherry color is bright and orangish, a lot brighter than the deep brown looking photo shown when purchasing. So please keep that in mind. - Please be mindful that this item is NON-RETURNABLE. I didn’t realize that until after I had purchased. Overall, it’s sturdy and pretty. No weird or overbearing smell when I took it out of the box either - it came very well packaged. While it doesn’t fully match the açaí wood color of my other kitchen items, it’s turning out to be a welcome sight and new addition to the counter, perfect for holding fruit this summer.

It was a wedding gift!

The bride loved the bowl. I added some salad tongs made in Cambodia that I bought from a bazaar and added my favorite salad recipes. She claims it is a big hit!

Beautiful bowl

I bought this with the intent on using it for bread fermenting. It’s too pretty for that, so now it’s a fruit and/or salad bowl that sits on my counter. Love it.

Better deal than buying one from the pretentious shops downtown

Very nice-looking wooden bowl. My wife wanted a receptacle for fruit, and this one didn’t disappoint. This was a major upgrade to the cheap Corelle bowls that were bequeathed to us by my mother-in-law. Don’t get me wrong, green floral print over plain white background is lovely, but not our cup of tea. Free things are nice, but should not have the honor of holding our beloved rotting fruit. In all seriousness, this product is great and an even better deal than buying one from some fancy shop downtown. You know, the ones with the strange smells and hand-made things that make a man want to rethink his life choices.

Great decor piece

I would say this salad bowl is great! It was able to fit two whole bags of Cesar salad kits and t was pretty easy to easy afterwards. Makes a good decor piece to be added on the dinner table as well.

The bowl is alright, but I can’t recommend for the price.

The bowl is alright. I went to William Sonoma, which has quality items but not necessarily the best price, and saw a much better quality and looking bow for the same price. I believe it was bigger too, I wish I bought that bowl instead. For the price I can’t recommend this bowl, I think $30 would be fair. I also don’t like the color, it looks different than the picture, it’s more orange/red.
