Great collar that really works, but did rub

So this product absolutely works. It’s better than the miracle collar, and way better than the dare collar. It stays on, the horse doesn’t twist it around, and the horse certainly does not crib. The reason it gets four stars is this- it also rubbed like crazy. Like hair gone, raw pink skin in patches in less than 48 hours. I ended up making a fleece cover for it. That was quick and easy and solved the problem but know you might be looking at a quick stitching project or an additional purchase. For me it was totally worth it because NOTHING else was working for this super tough cribber and this totally did. But know that going in. Also, this is a true full size. Ponies or very petite horses will probably warrant an extra hole or two (but that was also a pretty easy fix).

won’t fit 16.2 appendix mix, i’d say for under 15.2 it should fit

Good quality

Good quality product that stops cribbing and wind sucking, nylon strap lasts for years. I have another just like this one that I have had for 10+ years, and I have misplaced it, so I had to order a new one before my horse chews up the barn.

Best darned anti-cribbing collar I've found

My horse Amy is a serious cribber, she was given to me because her owner couldn't take care of her. I got her in Feb. of 2020 and she was underweight and it was for several reasons. I had her teeth floated and began a worming program but she was cribbing and that was keeping her weight down. I knew that a miracle collar had been tried on her at the ranch where I first met her, and it didn't seem to stop her cribbing no matter how tight they made it. But this collar...bingo...she stopped immediately! I've had to make sure it is in proper it's proper place now and then but that's no big deal, she lowers her head and I'm able to move it back into place. She even seems to like it :) Her weight is coming on and she is beautiful. Sorry I don't have a picture of her at this time. But, GOOD COLLAR, REASONABLY PRICED and better than that other expensive one!!

Horse still cribs

5* collar!

I didn’t want a cribber. I bought this horse and found out after deal was done. I actually bought this collar as it was the cheapest one I could find. I put it on, I was so scared he would choke to death and couldn’t sleep the first night. Works perfectly. He has tried to crib in the beginning, and all he could do was flap his lips. He doesn’t even try anymore. It’s a shame previous owner wasn’t attentive. His front teeth are so worn down. I would recommend. And, he’s alive and well!

My mare cribs. This collar has worked well for her. It is durable. She wears it 24/7.

STOPS CRIBBING IMMEDIATELY

After spending $$$$ on popular leather crib collars (won't mention brand names) that our horse hated wearing ! Even with the fuzzy protectors the leather left marks on her hide. I decided to try this as the price is right and others said it worked. Let me tell you IT WORKS. Its a lot more user friendly and it seems very durable. Big bonus it's not leather! A couple thoughts. It has slipped sideways a few times so keep an eye out for slipping (twine tied to halter stops from slipping). Also be sure your horse isn't cribbing from ulcers/stress/another underlying condition. Consider letting them crib for a few minutes a day on a safe surface as they are getting used to collar.

Works perfect After many different collars!

Excellent This collar is the only thing that has completely changed our thoroughbred horse. We tried the Miracle collar didn’t work at all. Tried a no name one didn’t work bought this one and boom ???? fixed the issue. The horse was a chronic wind sucker who couldn’t even eat a mouthful without having to stop and ram his teeth on top of the fence post. The only thing I found is that he will rub the collar sideways on his neck overnight. I’m going to modify it with a strap over his forehead to stop it from spinning on his neck. Highly recommend this collar! I thought if it didn’t work nothing else was going to work! Horse has mentally settled down he has put on weight and seems content with it on!

Looks horrible, but works great!

Seems to work better than the miracle collar. This one doesn't make my gelding consumed with trying to get it off. Originally, I had it as tight as I could get it. After a month of wearing it I could loosen it a whole and he's still not cribbing. I am very relieved, he was worse than a drug addict!!! The nylon is great because it doesn't stretch.

It works!!

Worked wonders on my mare! Only issue was i needed a haulter to keep the metal part under the throat. But it finally worked! Only tool that worked for my mare!!
