It fit well, but lasted less than 6 months
I was pretty happy with this product at first - it fit my Garmin 15 perfectly, was exactly the same as the old band, it seemed. But it clearly is not the same quality as the original band that came with my watch. The original band lasted over 4 years, the first year including marathon training & the couple years after that with runs at least 3-5 days per week. (I only wear it when running.) For awhile, I used duct tape to hold it together where it had split, but eventually decided to get a replacement. Unfortunately this replacement band lasted from the end of July 2022 to early December 2022 - with a new schedule meaning I was only wearing it 2 to 4 times per week, 30 to 40 minutes. Everything was fine & then after a 30-minute run, I was taking it off & the metal part for fastening the watch just came right through the band, with no real force, just suddenly pulled through. I don't know how it didn't fall off during my run. I don't want to spend another almost-$40 for a band that lasted less than 6 months, but buying a brand new Garmin, when the one I've got works fine & I don't need all the bells & whistles of the current models chafes a bit. I'm tempted to contact customer service - but even if I could get a new band, if it's going to break as quickly, why bother?

This is a great replacement kit, just wish the bands lasted a little longer. Pro tip, if they’re hard to get on, swap they around as you don’t have the top/bottom in the right places. Wrong way: 20 minutes. Right way: 2 minutes.

Easy to Replace although Questioning Why the original Band broke after only 1 Year of Use
With tool it was pretty easy to replace the band of the watch. The most amkpyng fact is why these watch bands are breaking and needing to be replaced after only a year of use. Same thing happened to my husbands very expensive Garmin tri watch. Makes me think they need to go back to the drawing board on these watch straps to make them more durable since most of us are working out in them,

Replacement Wrist Band
Needed a new band because my cat chewed up the old one. The replacement is darker in color than the original, but that isn't a big deal to me. I replaced the band with little trouble (having the right tool to push the pins out is helpful) & no longer have to fumble with a mangled band. Yay!

Genuine Garmin watch strap!
