A fun Gag gift
I bought it as a gag gift and it was a hoot. Does it work, well kind of. Build quality is okay but do not drop it, it will break right away and beware the cigar does go out frequently when its clipped in.

Does it’s job
It holds your stogie. Left it on the cart after the first round I used it, bought another one. Just save yourself the time and buy a 3 pack, you’re bound to forget it.

I use this on my riding mower, fishing kayak, or any other place I want to rest the cigar and not have it roll off into the dirt. Works great

Very handy on the Golf Course
I like to smoke a cigar or two when golfing. Before I purchased the cigar minder i would have to find a stick to lay my cigar on when getting ready to hit the ball. You can only lay the cigar on the cart when it is still long enough for the ash side to hang off but then the mouth side is on a dirty cart. Also, it can roll off fairly easily. You certainly don't want to lay the cigar on the grass with all the chemicals they put on golf courses. If you are going to die, it might as well be from lung cancer. that takes longer than the pesticides and herbicides they spray on a golf course. But then i don't inhale so the lung cancer is also at a minimal risk. So anyway, i clip the cigar minder on the cart support for the roof. When I go to putt I just lay the cigar minder on the ground, with the cigar safely off the grass. The only problem I have encountered is remembering to take the holder with me when i quit golfing. I've left and lost two so far. the first time the golf course saved it for me in lost and found, but not the second time. The cigar holder is black so it matches the roof support. I need to put the cigar minder back in my bag when finished with the cigar. The other option is to spray it a bright orange so when I do the cart check for items at the end of the game, i might better notice the holder in front of my face. The clip works great and might be tight enough to even hold thin cigarillos or perhaps even cigarettes. Can't say for sure but at the price, worth a try. order two at a time:-)

Great cigar holder for golf carts, holds on well even when riding through the roughest rough and bumpiest fairways and haven’t had any fall even when smoking those longer Churchill vitolas.

Does what it should.
The Good- It works like it should. It fits the cart rail. I have a lifted cart that bounces a lot and it wont fall off. It holds the cigar tight. I can clip my glove to it when bot wearing it to keep it dry. The metal springs are tight. It will hold a variety of cigar ring diameter- cigarillos might even hold The Rest- Its plastic, and only time will tell. The clip to the cart is larger and bulky. I think it could be smaller imo. The clip that holds the stogie looks like a three prong butterfly hair clip, and on occasion (after a few birdie shots) can bite into the wrapper if not careful. It is definitely a two hand operation. Overall- I would buy it, recommend and give as a gift. It does what I wanted it to do. Dont know why the photo flipped 90 degrees on me.
