Complete junk.
Poor quality product and I do not recommend it. The tools supplied do not fit and it seems like the threading on the screws was poorly done. Purchased at a local home depot and the device is complete junk. Stay away from these products.

Good product and works very well so far
Good product and works very well so far. The only reason I dropped a star from the rating is that the brass screws are very soft indeed, even with care and pre-drilling the cross-head rounds-off very easily. I used some other brass screws I already had as the pressure on the screws to take the tension is quite large and I didn't want to risk it failing. Instructions are good for tensioning the chain, but be aware that you need to be pretty strong to pull the chain out and lock it in place (with a small nail).

Works Just Right
Unit does exactly what intended. You need some sort of pin to hold the chain out while being attached (I used a very thin allen key), but it works great.

Great replacement
This was to replace one that had broken in one of my doors. Easy to replace and the quality is very good.

Door Closer
The Door Closer works fine. Closes a heavy door with no problem. Easy to uinstall.

Very useful hidden door closer.
Easy to install with the right tools. Am amazed how strong the spring is inside. Bent the nail I was using to hold it out.
