Easy to set up and use!

I was very nervous to actually purchase a seat like this. I read the reviews on so many types and brands, and everything had SOMETHING wrong with it. It worried me because I only want what’s best and safest for my baby. I bought opened-like new and saved $20 bucks! When it came, it was easy to set up and put onto our counter. I have used it for about a week now and it’s wonderful. Baby likes sitting in it and looking around. It feels secure, and we even put a 35 lb weight on it to make sure it does hold as much as it says it does. It’s easy to clean up the tray and the handle, but the fabric is difficult to clean as many other reviews say. I’m not super picky so it doesn’t bug me much, but I could see how it could get aggravating. I haven’t cleaned it in a washing machine yet, I have only wiped it down with a wet wipe. I only use it at home so far. Might take it on long vacations. However I don’t have any experience on taking it places with me! It is easy to take off and put on though, so I think it would be okay! Maybe a little bulky when it’s off, but not unbearable! I would buy this again! Definitely recommend it. Update: I have washed the cover and it washed well! I washed it on delicates and dried it on a low temperature. Came out looking great! The straps to keep baby buckled in are on the main part of the chair, but come through some slits on the cover, so they are exposed to foods and do get dirty. Because they stay on the main part of the chair, they don’t come off with the cover and don’t get washed. I scrubbed the straps with a Clorox wipe and it came off decently. There were still some bits of food stuck in the grooves but nothing terrible!

Mediocre quality for metal and cloth components, portability and cleaning is a big plus though!

This is our second Chicco portable high chair. The first one we had split the stitching where the front met the bottom. We purchased a second one because of the ease of use, portability and cleaning ease, not the quality. Ease of use: You essentially "hook" the chair onto the table top and secure it to the table using the two adjustable arms underneath the table. You push the two arms up to the surface under the table and use the adjustable knobs at the ends of the arms to really tighten the chair on. The rubber components do a really good job of protecting the table surface, top and bottom, but spills tend to get between the rubber sleeve and table and gunk up, so make sure you're removing the chair and cleaning the table at least once a month. You remove the chair by loosening the knobs and gripping the release buttons to fully disengage the arms for removal and portability. Cleaning: with the removal of a couple snaps on the fabric and push button releases on the metal frame, you can fully remove the fabric seat in just a minute. There is a wooden support that sits inside a pocket in the seats butt that you will remove and make sure your don't let moisture get on it because it will warp. We toss the chair in the washer whenever we see fit, and then we air dry. There are crevices that gather goop and snot and crumbs, but what high chair doesn't. Quality: The quality I feel is pretty good, but I will mention that the first one we had split the stitching. The other problem I've seen with both chairs is that the metal arms that connect under the table and snap back in the chair begin to bow. My first one was not that bad but this newer on is bowing pretty bad. I may have over tightened the knobs causing stress on the arms, but that is the only connection point to hold the chair to the table, it should be tight! Overall I recommend this chair especially if your little one goes everywhere with you like ours do. Good value for the price!

GREAT product, but hard to keep clean.

I love this product. We bring it with us to restaurants. I actually ordered a second one to keep in the car so we don't have to keep moving the one from our dining room table at home. It appears very comfortable for our baby. I think she really likes sitting right at the table with her siblings. The only complaint I have is that it is very difficult to keep clean. The cover is washable and comes clean easily. But it almost needs to be washed after every meal. The black fabric shows all the baby food. We usually put a towel in the bottom and sit are 9-month-old on top of it. We won't be able to do that much longer because she will need to be buckled soon. She is starting to squirm around more in it. I would pay the extra money to get the model with the plastic seat that could be wiped down to clean.

Worth the cost

This thing is so awesome. I feel 100% confident in my baby’s safety. It clamps on so securely. The tray is awesome - it goes on and off so easily and a quick rinse in the sink is usually all it needs. The seat is comfortable and supportive. Other chairs my baby would slump down in and I was always adjusting them. I’ve never had to do that with this one. The 360 turn is such a good feature. It’s smooth but also locks into place. This is over all just a well designed product and I dont regret what I paid for it.

A must have!

This is now or third chair we purchase! It is a must have for a little ones. We love taking it to breweries are places that we know don’t have high chairs. We’ve gotten so many compliments and people inquiring where we purchased it.

Portable

Nice to travel with and we use it at home, it's a little difficult to clean and breakdown but you get used to it

Solid product

It takes a few uses before you get the hang of it but it’s solid and good quality. I have thrown removable portion in washer, gentle/cold, a few times already and it holds up great. Also baby loves being right there at table with us, much better than high chair.

Muy práctica

Al principio batallé un poco para instalarla porque mi mesa es algo irregular, pero al final me di cuenta que es realmente sencillo. Es muy práctica, desmontable, tela resistente y de color precioso, fácil de limpiar, bastante cómoda, amplia y segura para mi bebé. Le encanta. Yo siento es la bandeja es más pequeña que la Inglesina, sería su único inconveniente, pero dentro fuera de eso es una excelente compra, vale cada peso.

Buena silla, pero hay mejores

Es buena silla. El único detalle es que creo que no es práctica para salir a un restaurante con ella. No es muy sencilla de armar ni de cargar. Creo que hay otras marcas que son más sencillas de mover. Si la quieres tener fija en tu casa es excelente.
