Held the angle that I needed while putting pressure on it.
I needed it for a VERY tight and deep situation. I had only about 4 inches of throw to work with, and a screw head of only about 3-16ths, weird angle, rusted screw. Used plenty of break-free, let it soak, was still a difficult screw to break loose. The socket has a locking-digit that was easy to use, but I was worried it was maybe light or would not hold it's position through lots of repetitions, but it worked flawlessly. The spinning locks are many, so my shallow throw was still like 3-4 clicks, so even though it was many reps, I kept making progress. When the screw was nearly out and got easy to spin, the tool was still light enough to keep spinning it when I thought the gear would have too much friction. Good sensitive and strong tool. I love my purchase. Wish it cost less, but I got the value that I paid for in apparent quality. I haven't used them for a long time yet, but I like the addition to my kit.

Great product
Material handling technician and I love these wrenches. Yes they are a little pricey but quality counts.

Swivel mechanism isn't the best
I lover gearwrench tools, however these aren't perfect. The rachet mechanisms themselves seem pretty good, as I have used them to break torque on some extremely tight hardware. It's the swivel locks that are going to be the failing point of these. I had one I belive the ratchet head was installed backwards and it was locked in a 90° angle. When I finally got it to unlock the ball that holds it in place fell out. I removed the set screw, reinstalled the ball, and reinstalled the screw. The same thing happened again. I took it apart, flipped the ratchet head backwards, and reinstalled everything and it didn't jam on me anymore. However most of them just aren't super strong and come loose fairly often while in use. I won't be using every day so it shouldn't be a major issue but they could definitely use a redesign for the swivel function. It's midly annoying but for the price and sizing they are worth the money

These could be better for the price.
I have a small shop with a wealth of Gearwrench tool sets, but these are a huge disappointment. Just like everyone else has mentioned, the flex head locks are poorly designed. Hear me out Gearwrench, a spring locking mechanism parallel to the beam would be much better! Using these wrenches against the force of gravity is nearly impossible because of the sub par locks. Especially when you need hold on to a part with one hand and wrench with the other. I'm to the point of melting this set down into a wall ornament. Gearwrench, DO BETTER!!

Good quality wrenches at a fair price
I managed to pick this set up as a return from Amazon and so got a reasonable price break. Since there was a thin film of grease on several wrenches, it appears the original purchaser used them and then returned them for a refund. Whatever, it was a good outcome for me. The wrenches are reasonably good good quality and seem well built. The larger sizes could probably be a bit heftier, but that's just my conjecture. The ratcheting and flex mechanisms work well and the finish is good. I particularly like the longer length, coupled with the flexing ratcheting head, which makes accessing difficult fasteners much easier.

Good wrenches for professional use
Only criticism is the lock for the swivel head is finicky and tends to unlock while in use. It can be pretty annoying but the value and rest of the quality makes it negligible.

Not impressed with lock
Seems to unlock while in use rather easily. Great wrenches other than that.

Was excited but now bummed
We have the standard set so we were excited to add the metric to the tool box. Unfortunately, the 19mm was broken upon arrival. Can’t unlock it. The website support says this product can’t be submitted for support there so now I have to find time to call and deal with it, which isn’t great for people with non-normal work hours *** Two years later and now a second one has broken.

Not one of their better tools
So first of, I love gearwrench tools they are one of my favorite brands so was kinda bummed about these. I used them and on the first try the locks got jammed on and didnt even lock. The head moved around just jammed up all the time. The head also does feel a kinda flimsy, it's not a nice tight head on it like I prefer.
