Great spray/ bad spray bottle.

I like the sscent, it is very similar to the chemical smell of a new car but is not overpowering. Pull up floor mats, spray carpet, let it sit for an hour, then come back and vacuum carpet. Works well in 3 of my 5 vehicles, still have an overpowering baby powder scent that I cvant get out of my Tesla. Dislike- The spray bottle arrived and does not leak. The spray nozzle stopped working after two uses. When you go to remove the sprayer from bottle, it has many teeth that make it difficult to remove but also keep it locked on tight. After opening, the wand that goes into the bottle had detached from the sprayer head. I reattached it and it sprays very weak. Overall- Good Scent , good packaging, bad sprayer wand.

Awesome! Exactly what it should be!

I bought the NEW CAR Scent, and it is absolutely awesome, it has a very strong fragrance that lasts, and smells exactly like the new car scent I've been using from another brand that sells the use only once small spray can, and throw away. People complain that this has a strong odor like chemicals, and yes, it does have a strong odor, and I assume that it is made with chemicals because I don't know of any tree or plant in nature that produces the NEW CAR SCENT. Having said that, a bottle of this will last me a very long time, and will provide the nice new clean car scent I love. I will even experiment with a car diffuser I have, and try using this instead of essential oil. I recommend it!

Will smell good after a day or two.

Like many others have said this product needs to settle in before you get the desired smell. I bought a used 2007 truck from a smoker. 16 years of smoke is pretty hard to get rid of. I'm impressed with how well this has been working. Basically went to town spraying all the fabric in the truck waited a couple days for the harshness to change into fresh scent. I have been adding about 4-8 sprays every night so it settles before I get in the next day. And the difference is drastic. I may still have to buy an ozone generator to get rid of the smell completely but am very happy with this product. I would rather it work then have instant gratification that won't last, this really gets rid of odor not just cover it up temporarily.

Awesome price for these.

I got lucky and found this as a 3 pack for 20 bucks. I l use the new car and leather mixed together in my car. Love the sents and they last a while too. Not a fan of the signature sent tho. It's original name is stripper sent and it kinda makes sense after I smelled it, it's a unisex smell. Has a mix of perfume and cologne. It's not bad, just not for me.

It smells close enough to a new car.

I had a 2019 that was losing the new car smell. Used this product for about 2 weeks then had a friend sat in my car and they thought I had just purchased it because of the smell. I got a kick out of that. The smell is different not entirely new car smell but it's close, it's pleasant and not over powering. It doesn't last long thats for sure but use it enough it starts to linger and you can catch a hint of it. Also to note my car didn't have any bad odors in it and it was pretty new so I wasn't trying to mask anything and I think that helped in it working for me.

Good product, just doesn’t last long

Overall I like the smell of the original scented spray. Just have to spray a lot and in a day or two the scent is gone. Wish it could last longer but the spray bottle will last a long time.

Interesting product

Bottle came damaged, not spraying, and leaking everywhere. I had an old spray bottle that I poured it into. Anyway, pretty interesting smell. It's definitely got a new plastic vapor smell, like when you open a new plastic electronic that's been sitting in hot packaging. Technically the real "new car smell" is the toxic vapor release of the new plastics so, it matches up decently well. Since it's pretty noxious, I started with a small spray in the back of the car with internal circulation on high, then let it sit overnight, and in the morning the smell was pretty strong and convincing. Negative reviewers are probably smelling it straight out of the bottle, which is not a fair criticism because it is an overwhelming plastic chemical scent initially, which is what you are going for. If you are looking for fake perfume calling itself new car scent (which of course is not a new car scent) look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a genuine new car smell, this is the closest thing out there. Kudos to the volatile chemical engineers on this one.

I bought this as I love the chemical guys products, everything I have had I have found to be amazing I cleaned my wife’s car on the weekend, and thought I would give this a go over my Autoglym, and when I sprayed I immediately found the smell to be vile. I thought maybe this was something that needed to settle, nope, the vile smell just mellowed. My wife got in the car and asked why I had spilt TCP medical solution. I replied that it was the ‘New Car Scent’ she laughed and said it was certainly not a new car scent, and said it’s 100% medical. I won’t use this again so it was a waste of money and would suggest if your looking for a medical smell for your car, this is your product, if your looking for a new car smell, this is very much not it. What a shame! Back to Autoglym for me

It performed ok. But scent won't last.

I read the reviews. The scent isn't quite perfect, but it's close. It has a plastic/leather like scent. It's pretty good. It really doesn't last super long. But it did what I wanted. My car had a musty smell when I turned on the ac. I did a "ac flush" as per chemical guys YouTube vid. Doing that got rid of the musty smell. A large bottle will last awhile. It's worth taking a chance on. As mentioned it didn't last super long but it did get rid of the funky smell from my ac.

Not bad, overall happy but read the review before you buy.

I purchased this scent recently. I bought a used car and wasn't happy about the interior smell. Not bad, just not my cup of tea. Usually my preference for car smells is cotton or freshly cleaned fabric. I have mixed filling about it. It's not a bad smell but not quite a new car smell either. In my opinion it's smells like a cheap plastic toy just after applied, if you let it air out a little it's leaving a nice smell of plastic. I noticed some people talking about a leather smell as well when applied. I can't confirm or deny because I recently did some cleaning and moisturising of my leather seats using Autoglym products and they have really strong new leather smell. Seats treatment and this air refreshener combined actually give a pleasant effect but leather smell is much stronger and honestly I prefer it this way. I'm happy how my car smells right now. I will try it out on my father's car. He is a smoker and he often carries his dog around and see how this works. I will also try to ask my friends what they think about it. I will update the review later. + long term use Long term update: Some of my friend think my car smells like dentist's. I kind of get their point. I'm doing two sprays every two to three weeks and I'm pretty happy with result. Still haven't tested it on my dads car. Do what the Chemical Guys say and don't spray too much otherwise you might by unhappy with the result. Suttle is the way to go I think.
