Good look and comfort
I have bought this same kind of hat a couple of times, and I really like the way they look and fit. The adjustable band is a plus, but I know that it wears out, and cracks and breaks. But I have sewn a new strap on, and it was fine.

Stylish
I ordered 3 of the black toques and have rec'vd many compliments. With a lot of hair and a big head on top of it, I still find that the band is tight even after it is adjusted, however it is much better than the paper hats that we wear at work. One down side is after trying on one of the toques, the band snapped, so I will have to try and sew it back together since I've already opened the package. I wish Chef Works made a larger size for people with thick hair, because tight hats cause a permanent wrinkle/crease in the forehead after wearing them for a while. Also, why did the price go up? I paid under $12 for mine a couple week ago and now they are over $14? Wanted to order more.

Chef's need to wear cool hats to do cool food... Just saying!
I hate every other style of chef's hat... I have a melon sized head and "one size fits most" hats never fit... This one does (kind of...) My last one is faded from 20+ years of being my faithful side kick! I'm gonna have a hard time letting him go but need to look a little sharper AND LESS TIRED AND FADED! IT'S NEVER LET ME DOWN, THE SEAMS ARE STILL GOOD, THE VELCRO IS GREAT, ETC... THE BLACK IS JUST NOT BLACK ANY MORE! CHEF MIKE CAN COOK

Nice Chef Hat
Other than this hat being a little on the hot side after several hours of use, this is a very good chef hat. It has held up well for over two years and that includes washing every other day (I have two of these). They do now offer a vented version that I have yet to try but will.

Exactly what I wanted
I wanted a nice quality chef hat. This is no disposable hat. There is an adjustable clasp at the back, and easily fits my head (I measure 7 3/8 hat size/ or about 23 inch). It looks to me like it could handle a 7 3/4 (24.25 inches). Feels like nice material, but won't get too hot. Of course, it is made in China. I would love to buy something like this made in North America, but it will do what I want for a good price.

Best hat for me thus far.
Sturdy and comfortable to wear over 20in dreadlocks. Roomy but low crown; it doesn't feel excessively floppy or baggy. The strap material will break down if dried too hot too often. Would be 5 star if the back was completely closed versus the ball cap style strap opening.
