Quick fix for a flawed product.

I got this for $10 and so far it seems like a nice product except for the flaw that others have pointed out. That is, the snap responsible for holding onto the belt is too weak to do the job. Considering that the case is only supposed to do one thing and that's hold a watch onto your belt, I think this flaw would be inexcusable. However, I came up with a very easy fix and now it is working as intended, kind of. All I did was put a couple of drops of superglue into the receiving end of the snap, snapped it together and let the glue dry. Now, I simply slide it on my belt and it remains there securely. Sure the snap doesn't work anymore, but what's the big deal.

Very good with one flaw

This pouch seems well made and looks good. I have worn it quite a bit over a few months and the leather still looks almost new. The only thing I do not like about it is that the snap that holds the belt loop closed will come open rather easily.

Good quality leather with sturdy construction/stitching. The previous reviews had me worried about the strength of the snap and was planning to have to fix it, but wasn't necessary. That problem must have been addressed. I've had no problem whatsoever with the snap coming undone and I've worn in many times to work, which included a lot of up and down and getting in and out of a truck while running errands.

This leather pocket watch holder works perfectly.Got it along with a pocket watch (of course) for my grandson's graduation to which he loves..uses it every day ???? This item had gotten lost in the delivery for whatever reason but thanks to the professionalism of Amazon they made it happen to which I am very grateful ..Would suggest in every aspect

Not impressed.

For one thing, the flap makes it really hard to cover my pocket watch without risking the crown - which is delicate. Second, the pouch is too thin for a standard pocket watch with a cover. Becomes a real struggle just to get the watch OUT of the pouch. And the belt loop snap is very weak so half the time it gives way instead of the watch coming out of the pouch. Becomes a total pain and looks klutzy getting the pocket watch out to see what time it is..

Bad connectors

I'm a pocket watch wearer and have been for many years. This product looked ideal. The problem concerns the strap through which the belt must go. It connects with a snap that comes undone with very little provocation. If one bends and moves and gets in and out of vehicles even in a normal fashion there is too much stress for the snap to handle and it comes undone. I still use this product, but I have sewn the back strap to the body of the watch holder, thus eliminating the problem. I suspect that most people will not want to go that far to improve what should have been done by the manufacturer.

LOve it. small prol=blem with sitting.

This pouch is great. it's durable, lightweight, and it protects my pocketwatch very well. Small problem though, when you sit down a certain way the strap buttoned around your belt may pop open, and that strap is very annoying to snap on.

Excellent Quality

Great quality case/pouch that fits nicely! Highly recommend for any pocket watch that fits to its size but I especially recommend it for the Charles-Hubert Paris watches. I also recommend the Charles-Hubert Paris pockets watches too!
