Great idea, poor implmentation

I really wanted to love this. Fantastic idea. But all you're doing is moving the hassle from getting the turkey out to getting the turkey in. The freshly buttered or oiled turkey that slippery as all get out and the sides of this are soft. I wish they could do collapsible with firm sides. It would be easier if at the bottom they had a bit of a hole of indent for the turkey butt to catch on to keep it centered. Got it for my father in law. That being said, cleaning was ridiculously easy. A+ there. We'll keep trying it.

Nice collapsible basket

I love how easy it was to take my turkey out of the basket. Collapses down nicely for storage. My only complaint was how hard it was to put a turkey in the basket. Without rigid sides I struggled with getting everything tucked in and the basket pulled up. Took me 10 minutes! I will have to practice more, or maybe support it all the way open and drop the turkey like the original. The original basket gave me problems with getting the turkey out of the basket. The collapsible unit solves that problem. Love the ease of removing food!

Great Turkey Basket

This is so easy to use, but be careful on what size Turkey you use as its only good for 14lb Turkey, I did a 16 lb Turkey and it worked but the wings got stuck and one was ripped off. Make sure you Pam the basket it helps the Turkey not to stick too bad Overall a excellent choice and Great product

Airless Fryer basket

I bought this basket as a replacement for my Turkey air fryer. This unit makes it easier to remove the turkey from the basket then the original basket. Highly recommend!

Not Ideal for the older Charbroil with the lid

I asked a rep at charbroil if this collapsing backet would work with the older oiless fryer, he checked and came back and said it would. It wont ! It is an excellent idea for the newer oiless fryer without the lid. I truly wish it would work for the older one. My father past the older version on to me and I cooked my first turkey with the orginal basket a few years ago. The basket was in bad condition I scrubbed it alot to get it to a usable condition for Thanksgiving. Returning this one and lucked up finding an orginal through Charbroil and ordered it.

Great addition

I would recommend keeping bigger poultry for the collapsing basket. The bunk basket works best with the original basket as well. All great items for the collection.

Huge help

So happy to have come across this accessory for my Big Easy. Made thanksgiving turkey so much easier to remove from the canister. Highly recommend!

This is worth every penny it cost

I bought a 20 lpound turkey and then found out the basket that came with the big easy would only take a 16 pound turkey. I looked up on you tube to see what other people were doing. Wow! some of the gizmos some people rigged up . I somehow found this basket and bought it knowing that if it didn't fit my big easy I could return it. When I got it , I immediately try the turkey in it and then tried it in the big easy to make sure it would fit. It did! Best turkey I have ever had. The greatest thing about this basket is when the turkey is done you pull the basket out , set it on the counter and the basket collapses down so no fighting trying to get turkey out . Buy It!

Size differential

What I liked, is the better than expected quality stainless collapsible basket. What I did not like, is the realization that the basket that I received, was too small for my Big Easy. There is nothing in the promo that suggests the basket displayed may not fit older Big Easy units, and it was not until I loaded my brimmed and stuffed turkey into my cooker, that it was obvious that the top ring of my new basket, is too small to span the circumference of the cooker. Even in the instructions that arrived with the basked, describe how the slots that are present in the upper ring found in older units, will receive the hooks of the top ring, of the collapsible basket. As you can see, that ain't necessarily so. So caveat emptor my fellow consumers.

Für den neuen Big Easy (3 in 1) etwas zu klein

Vom Konzept und der Verarbeitung her überzeugend, jedoch ist dieser Korb für den neuen Big Easy (der mit dem schwarzen Deckel, a.k.a. 3 in 1) zu klein. Damit der Korb oben am Rand aufliegen kann, habe ich alle "Krallen" mit dem Schraubstock flachbiegen müssen.

pain to clean

Does the job that its supposed to, makes it easy to take a whole turkey out but it is a pain to clean. If someone has a trick to it let me know. I rarely use it because of this.
