Spray your entire yard in no time
I like this thing. For the reviews that say it leaks, you have to tighten the fittings. Mine does not leak a drop. It is a little bit of a challenge to adapt it to a hose but once you have the right fittings it works great. I have a 10 gallon sprayer with electric pump (from Northern Tool that I put in my tow-behind trailer that I pull with my lawn tractor. I just attached this 3-nozzle sprayer to the back of the trailer and can spray the entire yard in the amount of time it takes to mow the yard. In fact, you could do both at the same time if you wanted to. I am very happy with this and think the price is fair. Sure, it's plastic, but it seems to be made of the same plastic the sprayer parts are made of and plastic probably holds up better to chemicals.

3 - Nozzle wand by Chapin
Would have gave 5 stars if - 1) Chapin would have included a fitting with the boom OR 2) any instructions with thread size 3) Very pricey for what you get - but after two trips to hardware stores got it to work

Perfect little spray bar
I have a 15 gallon sprayer & wanted to add a spray bar to spray my yard with 2-4 d . I made a adjustable bar out of PVC pipe 19 inch off the ground I get a 54 inch pattern it worked out great & I also added a splitter so use could use wand or bar . Only complaint is top fitting isnt the greatest I used a 3/8 plastic barb with tephlon tape but it leaked & had to switch to brass for more strength & better seal

Perfect for simple jobs
Came just as expected ,and on a Sunday none the less, best review you will see ... If you don't mind a little engineering it works great for my 1gpm pump sprayer. Nozzles do very in how they spray but not enough to matter , no nipples included but it shows that clearly , sprayed yard yesterday and it was super easy lawn mower in low gear at idle out out just the perfect pattern . ( Depends on the chemical you spary ) mine was rather thick chemical so it went a bit slower , but with just water and Promethean oilI could have ran 5 mph . Don't he man anything and it shouldn't break I ran though my plum trees and got it hit a few times and didn't break it . Cost for what you get I'm happy with it . I'll give it five stars for it's consistent 4.5 ft spray pattern and it came exactly as expected .

Good sprayer but takes some work to get connected.
Works pretty well except there's no indication of the size of the fittings. Seems like they could include a couple of standard hose adapters. For anyone wondering the threading at the open end of the sprayer is 3/8". I used a 3/8" female to 3/8" hose adapter. Your hose size might be different. I did some redneck engineering and drilled a couple of holes in my mower cart and used a zip tie to hold it in place. Hopefully you can see this in the picture I uploaded. It covers a nice wide area and provides even coverage. You need it to be about 3 feet off the ground to be effective however.

It works.
I bought this to connect to an Ironton 8 gal sprayer to tow behind my mower. It does the job and while it's pricey, it was better than trying to find all of the connectors and tips to build a boom for what I needed. Small enough to get around and between shrubs and such. The only con I have is that the center tip overlaps about half of the pattern of the 2 outside tips so it's hard to get consistent spray around borders where you can't overlap. It does have standard size tee jet tips so I might play with that. I might try a 110 degree in the center... I have not tried it on a wand and probably won't. I'm happy with it.

Poor thread design, not for manual pump backpack sprayers
Threads on boom are not well constructed - The connection of the boom is constructed of plastic threads and can be overtightened with very minimal force. When I screwed on the boom to my Chapin 61900 backpack sprayer, I was using two-fingers to tighten and the threads were repeatedly stripping. I could not get the attachment to tighten adequately. The slightest bump on the boom arm would cause the attachment to strip and/or loosen and begin swinging around. Either the threads should be metal or they need to be manufactured deeper and with stronger plastic. Not for use with a manually pumped backpack sprayer - I was planning to use this boom for application of herbicides over my lawn. The boom would have given me an approx 4-5ft spread that would make the task very manageable. Unfortunately, the amount of manual pumping required to maintain pressure for a 3-nozzle boom is nearly impossible. (I was using the Chapin 61900 backpack sprayer). For reference, I am 5'10 175lb and in the gym 4-5 times per week. I wouldn't be able to keep up the pace of manually pumping for more than about 100ft of walking without my arm going numb. Not sure if other manual backpack sprayers do better at building up and maintaining pressure, but I can't imagine another manual sprayer (costing less than about $300) being significantly better than the model I used. It would be nice if the manufacturer provided some more objective data regarding the psi required for the 2-nozzle, 3-nozzle, and 4-nozzle booms that they offer and/or create a list of sprayers that would suffice for each boom.

This is Not for 15 gallon sprayer, it is for a backpack sprayer.
This was listed on page that I ordered my mix on exit ,15 gallon sprayer. I assumed it went with it ,it Does Not ! It is for a backpack sprayer, very disappointed. When I went back and re read it ,it did say for backpack ,but why advertise it next to the 15 gallon sprayer.

Great for the Acreage Sprayer
Nozzles are a great size for spraying the weeds on the acreage, good coverage and flow. I have the boom mounted 27" off the ground and get just over 4' of coverage per pass.

Nozzle tips are too large
Boom is nice however the nozzle tips are larger than I like. It sprayed too much out too quickly. Should uncle another smaller orifaced nozzle tips.

It was easy to put onto the end of the wand of ...
The boom worked fairly well. It was easy to put onto the end of the wand of my Chapin backpack sprayer; no additional parts were required. The middle nozzle sprays a nice wide spray, but the end ones have less pressure and so the spray pattern is narrower. It does seem to cover about a 4ft width evenly though, so it works. You have to pump constantly to keep the pressure up, which I expected. For a fairly flat surface with just grass, you can walk fast and cover a lot of ground in a hurry, so this is a timesaver. In rough terrain, or if there are lots of brush or shrubs that the boom can get hung up on, you are better off using the regular wand. It seems a little overpriced for what it is, I paid $80 for the backpack sprayer new. and this was over half of that price for all plastic parts, but it does save time.
