Excellent Drill Bits.

I really like these 1/8 drill bits. I have used Champion Bits in the past when I worked as a tradesperson, and they never let me down. I was really happy to find these on Amazon. I will never waste my money on the off shore bits that the big box stores sell again. I will be reloading my drill bit index with Champion Bits.

Good bits at a fantastic price

Is anything more frustrating than breaking the smaller drill bit sizes? You are left with the choice of getting a good per bit price by buying a whole set, but rarely are the larger sizes needed. The other choice is to buy them singly or in twos and pay an arm and leg for them. I did mucho web searching to find larger numbers of the smaller sizes (especially these sixteenth inchers) at a reasonable price. Bingo! These bits are every bit as tough and of the same length (another problem) as those by Vermont American, Milwaukee or any other commonly found supplier of those two bits shrink-wrapped on cardboard at a real fraction of the price. Thank you Champion and Amazon.

Priced to be disposable, but very strong!

I bought a set of these because this was the size that I used the most and incidentally had break the most frequently. Not wanting to buy yet another drill bit set with bits I would rarely ever use, this 12 pack is an absolute steal. What's even better, is that these are also incredibly durable. I was using this to pre-drill before countersinking finishing nails, and still no snap 100 holes later! This is my first time using Champion brand drill bits and I will definitely turn to them again. These beat the pants out of my pricier Bosch bits.

Described size and actual size of the bits is different

Read this and say what size drill bits you think you'll get: "Champion Cutting Tool US5-34/64 General Purpose Jobber Drill Bits- Made in USA (6 per pack)." If you said 34/64, you would be wrong. You'll get 31/64. Why? You have to select the size further down the display. Why put 34/64 in the title of the product at all? Some might say, well, it's only 3/64 off the mark. For our work, that's a mile, so the bits are no good to us. The bits themselves look okay but not being the size advertised in the title of the product, they are of little use. Pity. Advice to the copy writer: Take the size out of the header.

I use them with soft brass where there's already a pilot hole. It really should work well for that.

My use is equivalent to rating a big truck to carry bags of foam.Of course it works for that! I use these to go through very thin pieces of brass to clean out a pilot hole that's already there. I really don't stress them in any way. I'm probably not the right person to ask if you're using these for any kind of "real" hole drilling. But they work wonderfully for my needs.

Very good quality

I work at a trailer company. My team uses this to perform various tasks on the repairing of the trailers. Making holes for the ceiling, the sides and the loaders. Only one advice try to use some kind of lube to prevent overheating of the bit.

A little bit better

A little bit better then most of the other bits but brakes just as quickly as the others brands just take your time cuz it's a very small bit and you should get through your project without running out of the bets
