Didn’t expect them to be square
They seem fine but the photo shows them as round and they arrived square. I ordered 2 multi sets.

Perfect for my pond
I have fish and turtles. They like to eat my plants that I have in my pond. These floating planters are PERFECT

Perfect!
Works great. Great for owners of deep ponds that want plants. After year in the water they look and function like day one.

Well made. Great for potted plants not floating plants
I didnt realize how deep the planter was and needed one for my floating plants. The plants grew quickly and got overcrowded quickly. These are great for slow growing plants

Works great - with some adjustment.
These work great, but as made, they float a little too high in the water. This was easily solved by cutting the inner styrofoam ring (very easily removed from the cloth) in half. A suggestion to the manufacturer...use multiple smaller foam rings to make adjusting the floating height easier and less messy.

Expensive
Too expensive for styrofoam and cloth. It works though!!

Very useful, well-made
This floating plant basket is just the thing for pond plants whose roots need to be continually in the water but whose leaves don't need to be (or shouldn't be) totally submerged. It's also very helpful if your pond doesn't have plant shelves, or shelves of the right height for certain types of plants. The design is amazingly simple but very effective. A foam ring is covered with durable woven fabric in such a way that the fabric creates a "well" into which soil and the plant's roots can be "planted." You can't see it in the photo, but the "well" hangs down somewhat farther inside the ring than it appears to, allowing plenty of length/space for the roots-plus-soil/pebbles, etc., of a reasonably good-sized plant. The string hanging down allows you to tighten/loosen the fabric cover on the foam ring, or take it off entirely. (I'm not sure why you'd want to, but that feature would/does allow you to replace the ring, if need be.) I bought this small, 10-inch size, but these come in medium and large sizes as well.

Floating plant pots. The best idea ever
I am a complete amateur to koi ponds and marginal plants. Inherited a deep 1m pond and wondered why all my Zone 4 or 5 plants were dying. Couldnt build shelves. So this is thenext best thing. These seem to work great. Soil or indeed as advised by gardener you use small pebble rock instead to avoid soil spillage works great. I let them float around and the goldfish hide under them. And its nice to have movement on the pond. I need a bamboo stick in the water to stop them getting plunged under water and spilling the soil. Yes, its just polystyrene and a black sack with a deeper hollow, like an upside down hat, and maybe you could make it yourself cheaper (in response to other reviews), but its darn great value to me! I'd buy more if I had a bigger pond!

Great but simple little invention.
This a a brilliant idea for aquatic plants, I have just set up a wooden raised pond and had nowhere to put my water lollies so when I saw these they were perfect, I've put my lollies in and they float around the pond, they are a water proof material with a polystyrene inner. Have had them in for about three weeks now and have had no problems with leaking or sinking.

The baskets look very good and a great idea
I was a little hasty in giving a seller review of 3 stars as they had sent me a single 35cm basket instead of the kit of 2 baskets. The owner contacted me and after a very pleasant conversation, he is sending me a separate 25cm basket to make the kit up. The baskets look very good and a great idea. I have a new pond and it is 2 feet deep around the edges, so if I wanted to plant marginal plants, I would have had to construct something to stand a normal pond plant basket on. These are ideal but I've been told not to plant anything in them that will grow too tall as they might tip the basket over.

Good product
Looking for something small to grow watercress in. This was the smallest I could find. 25cm is physically quite large. Deep bag for roots or gravel. Deep polystyrene growing ring. Overall happy
