Drive "Scout' Scooter Rear Basket
Well constructed but poorly engineered. The Velcro strap that is supplied to keep the basket from slipping off the top bar is so inferior it is hard for me understand why it was included. I should have returned the product but was determined to improvise a better solution. I had some chain leftover, so I cut two pieces of #16 Jack chain and attached to corner of basket and attached to the clamp that was supplied for the strap. In addition, the short leg of the L bar is difficult to install into the square tubing under the seat. I had to use rubber mallet and oil to insert.

Great Addition for Scooters
I needed to make an adjustment for our particular scooter, but now it fits and works perfectly. The basket cleverly folds up when not in use, and the basket holder works great for carrying a walker when the basket is off.

Don't buy this unless you have metal working skills
I thought this was a great idea, but it doesn't work for my GoGo Travel Elite Scooter and has a design flaw which makes it unusable as it is for any scooter. The piece that goes into the receiver is about 17 inches long, so the bar that holds the basket stands about a foot behind my seatback. Combine that with the 16 inches or so for the basket, and you have to _try_ to get your scooter in diagonally if you need to use an elevator, and it still may not fit. If you have a metal worker in your family who can cut the hitch down to about 6-7 inches, this would be remedied. And drill a hole so you can actually use the knob screws included. The design flaw that makes it unusable for anyone is that the basket just hangs from the crossbar by rigid hooks. That means every time you go over a bump (like a lowered curb) the basket falls off and spills its contents everywhere. There should be some way to fasten it the cross bar better than this. I had to use duct tape to be able to use it for this weekend, and will be returning it on Monday.

Flimsy & slides
I gave this 2 stars for the speed in shipping & the fact that this folds up out of the way when not in use... otherwise ... I'm not impressed. The cross bar the basket 'hangs' from, does not prevent the basket from slipping from one side to the other. It slips off & tips over to one or the other side, spilling out carried items. It also sags backwards, thus also presenting a spill danger. I have to use a combination of zip ties & bungee cords to keep the basket attached to the scooter bar designed for it. The tiny hook for holding the basket folded closed, broke the first time I used the basket, so I added a velcro strap to hold it closed now. If you only plan to carry a light tote bag of items such as a rain poncho & umbrella or a light jacket, then I suppose it's fine.. I certainly advise strongly against loading it with anything that might be breakable! Very poorly designed & way too expensive for this shoddy product.

STEER CLEAR!!!
Like most of these reviews say, this product does not fit anything like in the picture! I purchased this for my father. When he received the basket and assembled it, the height and distance were way too far!!! It looked completely ridiculous (see picture). He then had to go through the trouble of cutting off 5" from the rear and 4" from the top to make it actually usable (see second picture). So unless you wanna modify this thing I suggest you look elsewhere.

Whoever designed this Rube Goldberg contraption had to be a refugee from a booby institution. Instead of being a single piece basket that can be easily inserted into a holder in the back of the scooter, it is a half a dozen parts that make up a very flimsy contraption that poses as a basket. It is difficult enough just to assemble and even harder to install. The scooter is for use by people who suffer from handicaps so it should be easy to install and remove. Not so. Moreover, the basket when installed, is flimsy and falls off easily, Not only that, the one I received had a fastener in which the diamond screw would not penetrate so it is useless. Additionally, just try removing the cap from the retainer beneath the seat for mounting basket. Worst yet, it cannot be returned for a refund even though it is defective and doesn't fit the description of the basket..

This thing is useless!!
Warning Do Not purchase!!! This thing is useless!!! It is designed so poorly, any tiny little bump and the basket will come off and dump everything you had in it. I even tried zip ties to secure it and still it dumped everything. I had this happen multiple times, once in the middle of the street! This is supposed to help disabled people not make it harder for them, I was lucky that good samaritans were around each time to help me reclaim my items.

DO NOT PURCHASE!!! This basket does not come with instructions and on top of that you need a hacksaw to cut the bar as it's extremely long!!! Not the length shown in photo!! Does not state that you need a hacksaw nor does it come with one to use!!!

Works great on my wife's scooter. I had to add a strap to keep it tight on the stand when not in use but well worth the money.
