This really helps to funnel the water into the rain chain.

The media could not be loaded. The adapter took some modifications in order to get it to work in my application (I had to bend it in order to get it to lay somewhat flat in the bottom of my gutter). It might just be my gutters, but they were too narrow to have this fit without some type of alteration to the original shape. The chain itself was easy to attach to the adapter, just remove the included triangle attachment from the chain (I did this by hand) and attach the top of the chain to the bolt on the adapter. Overall, I would say a set of these would make a lovely gift or a great addition to anyone’s home. I would definitely recommend purchasing the adapter with the chain though. I think it helps funnel the water more into the chain than the standard included attachment on the chain and helps create a more uniform flow of water. Also, I’m glad I went with the black finish because it matches the rain chain and basin. I did purchase another style of adapter (the more rectangular version) but it was silver and since it’s visible from the gutter I think it looks a little better matching the entire chain and basin. A side note - the quality on this version was better than the other more rectangular style. It’s a thicker metal and I think it will hold up better over time.

For the professional look.

We could have used the existing gutter attachments but it wouldn't have looked as nice. Note; These have to be modified to fit inside the gutter properly. I had to enlarge the previous holes with aviation snips, bend the sides to fit the recess of the bottom of the gutter, and silicone seal the bottom face. It isn't difficult unless working off of a ladder is a problem. The final results look great.

Excellent Quality and great look

Over the years I have purchased many Monarch products. The quality and service of this company is amazing. I highly recommend them. They are quick to respond to any requests and also always follow up with any answers to questions I may have. Recently I have purchased the rain chains and basin and love them. If you want a very special look for your home then I suggest you try these on your gutters. So much better than downspouts.

A must buy for your rain chain

This is definitely a must buy for anyone who has a rain chain. Like others have mentioned, it was too big to fit into my gutter. I ended up bending the flange in my vice (a trick I saw in someone else's review), and it then fit fine.

Es muy ancho dentro de la canal

Es muy bueno pero para mi canal no lo es pues es muy redondo y ancho arriba y no cabe en la canal y no ponen la medida para comprarlo deben de ponerlo para evitar errores

Works perfectly!

Installed this with the rain chain we also bought on Amazon and it works perfectly. We had to trim the sides of the collar to fit our 2.5” gutter tho. You’ll need a 2.5” hole saw if you're going to install this where you've never had a downspout installed like us. We simply pressed it into the gutter without any sealant or silicone underneath the collar. We’ll wait and see if we’ll need to to add some or not when it rains.

So so...

Great quality but does not funnel all of the water directly onto the chain. Some water gets redirected by the bolt causing water to squirt to the sides. Not a big fan. I’ll post a video when it rains to show you guys.

Good Product

Good idea for the rain chains. One issue we had was that the rain chains were being installed on the garden shed, and the gutters/troughs were a bit smaller. My husband is super handy and made the adjustment, no problem.

Rebord trop large pour l'intérieur de la gouttière, nécessite un ajustement

Pour une gouttière standard achetée en quincaillerie, les rebords ont dû être repliés, de chaque côté, afin de parvenir à insérer l'embout à l'intérieur. Pour le reste, il accueille parfaitement la chaîne de pluie choisie et est très esthétique!

Works well with monarch rain chains

Works perfectly with a monarch rain chain. I had to modify a small piece of flashing from gutter scupper to this device to help direct rain into center of rain chain. All depends on what type of gutters are in use.

Too wide for my eavestraughing

This is wider than standard eavestraughing so it would not fit in. I had to use a dremmel to trim 3/4 inch off of each side. Difficult as the metal is heavy duty. Once trimmed down it worked great.
