Took forever to install, due to the many pieces that wouldn't stay together, and misalignment of a number of components. Should have yanked it then and returned it for refund. Had wasted so much time on it that I let it go. Had an extra key cut from a non-Master blank. Good thing. Over 1 month, both Master keys have broken off in the lock (inside, fortunately) with no tension applied, just turning bolt. I could have had a Schlage double-cylinder deadbolt to begin with for less than I paid for this chinese-made garbage, and now I will. Master, my asster.

Cheap and different from picture
I had ordered this lock before to put in my security door. Not the best lock to begin with, but it was the only one that had a narrow bolt housing that I needed. I needed to replace the lock, so I just ordered the same lock again. The one they sent me this time did not have the narrow housing as shown in this picture. It really ticks me off when they send a product different than the one pictured. Wasted an hour of my time. They really should have a "no stars at all" option.

The bolt almost looks like it's made of plastic, it has some sort of cheap "metal colored" coating on it. Also don't be fooled by the picture, the latch housing is not tapered as is shown but is 1" circular like every other latch so won't work in narrow opening. It's a shame these overseas companies can buy a well-known brand name like Master Lock and make this cheap junk to fool unsuspecting consumers.

Wrong picture for item
The picture was misleading the items I received has a rounded inter bolt instead of of the flat rectangle shape shown. So it did not fit as a replacement.

Broke while locked
Bought this about 2 months ago, and one day, all of a sudden, with no abuse involved, it just stops working, locking me inside my room. I bought this lock to keep others out, not to keep me in. Never ever buy this product.
